I actually think Drury has been really good so far this off season. People might think we overpaid for Goodrow and maybe we did, but he's the kind of player we can use, Giordano would be another kind of player we could use (tho Strome feels like an overpay)

This I absolutely agree with. You don't trade Strome and remove his obvious chemistry with Panarin if you don't have a solid plan.

Yeah now this doesn't mean that Eichel is NOT coming, but unless Buffalo is dumb and wanted to play along with Jack saying that hes injured despite not really being injured anymore, they would need to add another player as he won't be available to who ever gets him for a bit.

Why not just keep Smith then? Seems like the same to me minus the offense.

Strome should be going for a younger center, or at least someone under the age of 35....

This lineup is fine and all until Eichel ties up $10m sitting for a year with his neck injury while Drury figures out how the hell he's gonna pay Fox, Zib, and eventually Kakko and Laf.
