I think Strome is the one dealt and not Buchnevich as well. Strome for futures and some truculence. Larkin would be a great add provided he signs with us long term.

I think in this scenario, the 15th overall and the 1st acquired from Vegas would be going, and not the Rangers' 2022 pick. I'd keep that pick at all costs. The next two drafts are quite deep based on what I've read and heard so far.

Drury chose his words very carefully here. I don't think it's anything earth shattering at all. This reads as the Rangers keeping all of their options open. They're fine with bringing him back, but if the right deal comes along, that if it makes the team better, they'll make the deal.

For sure, but there were partial quotes posted before which basically sounded non-committal as you possibly could. That usually means you're a goner.

I mean these aren't exactly leaning one way or another, but theres much more praise and at least a twinge of openness to keeping him around.

Other media people have mentioned him as far as possibly being on the move (Freidman.) In his position, I feel like you don't drop someones name out there unless you're leaning towards moving on. Im sure they know his price and if they wanted to keep him at what ever that may be, why even bother throwing that line into the water?

1. One or a series of deals resulting in Strome and Buch being moved and Yanni Gourde coming in.

2. Alex Georgiev to EDM for Zach Kassian 1m retained

3. Zac Jones to LAK for Kurtis McDermid and a 3rd round pick

4. Sign a vet goalie.

Gourde had a great season and playoffs. Namestnikov also looked pretty good with Tampa.
