I wasn't saying the Rangers were trading with Vegas and that happened while I was away from social media. The point was don't expect them to try and trade a Center to Vegas like many people propose.I’m not sure how to tell you this….
No. You wouldn't want Seattle to have the right to talk with him (as a UFA), make a deal and select and trade (or keep) him. He will be protected.Move Strome. Elevate Chytil. Goodrow at 3C.
Do they wait until the ED is over to sign Goodrow so that he doesn’t have to be protected?
Completely disagree.Well, one thing that would do is GUARANTEE no playoffs next year. Which is fine!
And Chytil would be? Team needs a proper 2c (or 1b c to Mika 1a)Ryan Strome is the difference maker?![]()
Take this one with a grain of salt but Ryan is alluding to the fact that Buch may be moved within the next few days (which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone paying attention)

He kind of did. I'd say its fair bordering on slight overpay.Hoping Lou got bent over by the Yotes

Let Fast go for the same price we will likely give Goodrow...
It's always good to have options. If signed, Goodrow gives the team options. He's 52% on face offs for his career (~2000 attempts). If they keep Strome or bring in a new center, Goodrow could easily play on the wing of a center who is less than ideal at the dot. I like it. Options are good.
-Mika has a wedding in August, may get off to a slow start again
Because he's a guy you win with. Don't get me wrong, 6 is wayyyy too many years for him, but that's the reason why teams want this guy.So why are teams allegedly looking to offer him a 6 year deal?
Fast didn't want to be possible expansion fodder, which was one of the reasons he didn't re-sign.Let Fast go for the same price we will likely give Goodrow...
AFAIK no, can't even sign your protected players. So the Rangers can sign Goodrow since he's their own now, or is there a complete roster freeze for even team's own players?
I would say they are somewhat similar. Goodrow has an edge that we need right nowwho is the better player? don't know a ton about goodrow.
