Not gonna lie his speed would be nice.

Drury- "Hey Matt wanna take a million bucks"...Hello Hello anyone there?
we could hope... cap is flat and tight.

Take a 1 year 'prove it' deal on a contender and then get paid when cap goes up

$1M barely buys you a studio apartment in Harlem. Pretty sure I saw Vesey living under the Queensboro Bridge but not many are willing to slum like him he's a character guy.
luckily Duchene has made over $75M.... he may be able to afford LIC or Astoria

Kreider-Tro—Goodrow
Cuylle - ? - Vesey

Does it work cap wise? Kids still get their real shot

Who is AFP? A fourth period?
Nah, they are the top contract predictor in hockey. They nail every contract. They had Fast at 2 X 2.3, he gets 2 X 2.4. They had meier at 8 X $8.65, he gets 8 X 8.8

They have a spreadsheet here predicting every single FA’s contract. Its a good guide

Why are we signing a washed up guy to be backup? lol I could care less about the Rangers being his childhood team. Should've let us win all those years ago if that's the case :P

Not as good as Halak. Watch Drury sign Quick for more than it’d take to keep Halak.

Halak is better. But if Shesterskin goes down for a 10+ game stretch, a former #1 is a better stand-in.

Prefer Talbot, but I don't think he's anywhere near as cheap as Quick.

Halak played pretty well with us, and will probably get more than 1.5 we paid him last year. And we can't give him a raise. I'd love to re-sign him, but it's probably out of reach.

It's going to be Quick, an AHL goalie or one of the numerous #3s in the league. Out of that group, I'd take Quick.
