That’s fine, I don’t think it’s a good idea to have him sign long term. Its almost as if they have no intention of keeping him past the deadline
Where have I heard this before?
Second straight season we come into the year with this hanging over the team.
AHL, NHL and IIRC, I believe he even had the cajones to blame Garth Snow at one point. At at the same time, who is that coach? Is he sound? What was the problem?
I have no idea. But I do know that the Islanders has really had an worthless approach from the get go. Players that are outspoken often have a bad self esteem. I have no problem with discipline, but when they cut him from camp instantly after over sleeping they humiliated him tremendously in public. And after that there has just been a looooong line of more of the same crap, calling him out in public and humiliating him.
I listened to a few interviews with him, he sounds like a good guy. I am sure he has issues, but I don’t know...
That's my line!Did u watch McKegg in the playoffs last season?
My God guys; Steve Larmer and Tie Domi!Dominic Moore too![]()

Actual record. Are we second in waiver priority due to the draft? Or is it based on your actual record?
Sprong might be a better option than McKegg. Where is Smith playing though? He might be on the 4th line when ADA is back, and McKegg could be on waivers.
Maybe the competition for 2C continues in Hartford between Chytil and KravstovStrome is the best option at 2C today.... that's not to say he'll definitely be the best option by game 10, 30, or 50.
Chytil and Kravstov will probably both be best served playing in the AHL for a bit. I'm guessing they are both back long term by Christmas, maybe Thanksgiving. It's certainly not the worst thing in the world. Chytil will get more experience at center, and Kravstov will have more time to acclimate himself. I think when Kravstov finally comes up, he won't be going back down...
Good to know Kakko and Andersson aren't lunatics with bad number taste.
Chytil and Kravtsov in the AHL was the right call (disappointed as I may be), and I'm pleasantly surprised the Rangers had the balls to do it.
Howden is Quinn's new Vesey.
Carp said he heard it was done. That’s the best I’ve seen.
I really want Ho-Sang or Sprong. I would prefer JHS though. I like his creativity more. Sure the attitude sucks but I think going to a new team and getting that restart button would do well for him. Don’t think we’re getting either even if we put in a claim.
