I also rather deal Buchy than Kreider. And I like Buchy a lot. But with Kravtsov here probably a much better version of buch and wanting to get him top 6 mins along with what CK brings to the team (no one else does what he can do particularly on the pp)

He’s a much better fit over the next 5 years. And that’s the extent of what I’d offer. 5 year deal.

If Panarin Mika Kakko Chytil Kravtsov and Kreider are our core top 6 players the next 5 years I like our chances.

Girardi will forever be a huge part of the group that invigorated my Rangers fandom during my 20s. All the great playoff runs and memories. Sure we came up short not winning that cup, but it was one helluva ride that i will never forget, watching every game with friends and family.

Girardi got so much hate from Rangers fans at the end but he’s one of my all time favorites. Undrafted guy who was an absolute warrior. The roles he was used in weren’t up to him but he gave his all for this team. I’ll always love G.

not really. They have just enough to manage the season and do a call up.

Stuck with Smith being the spare and playing a few spots when he has too.

They can just deal Strome and Namestnikov later..........both are not in the long term plans and they cant really qualify Strome for next yr as an RFA as they need to pay others like Lemiux and deAngelo so this doesnt happen again.

Plus they may sign Kreider and need to have that as an option?

I also think Fast stays for cheap and is exposed in expansion.
