He did pretty well with WPG this year so i think he'll garner attention but yeah, maybe I overestimated how much he'd get.Has been claimed off waivers four times in the last three seasons. I don’t see him breaking anyone’s bank.
link? like retire? fired?Anyone else see Gordie Clark is done?
Pass it to the Russian? To be fair you have to have a very high IQ to understand Ryan Strome’s game.
Halak, Greiss, Holtby? or KOskinen? thenMartin Jones? that's your pick for backup goaltender?![]()

Those guys all stink so better hope Garand is good if Igor gets hurt
Mika looks dead inside
This team needs a matchup center like Jordan Staal in the worst possible way.
Kakko scoring would be poetic. Especially iMake it happen.

This was needed. I liked Clarke, but overall there have been issues.
Kevin Maxwell is another guy I wouldn't mind see gone, just for the sake of change, unless Drury really likes him.
Yeah this is one to follow, I wonder who we got i

I’d take him but I expect him to get the Goodrow contract if not moreWill Nick Paul be too expensive? He’d be kind of perfect as a defensive 3C
Big body goes to the net. Bad on the draw but is young and can improve.
Swapping 2ed and 3rd overall picks from the same draft but both fill a need. I dont mind this. I proposed this a few days ago. This would be a good move for both teams. Center depth is a need on this roster.
Or the ice for that matter
The Rangers can't afford PLD and Larkin.
He’s also good buddies with Goodrow apparently. And played for Canada last year at the WC under Gallant. He is exactly the shutdown center we should be looking for and he’s been much more than a 4th liner this playoffs. He also drew a penalty and scored since the original post lol
How about Kakko for Kirby Dach?
I brought up buying out nemeth over a month ago and got blistered for it, but his buyout is so reasonable it is almost a no brainer opposed to trading an asset to get rid of the deal.
Drury tried to trade Strome last summer. Does anyone really think he will sign Strome now after this season? Panarin talks the talk for his buddy but Stromer is gone. I don't think they will sign Copp either, that's too much money for a middle 6 player for too long.It feels more and more like Copp will chase the money and Strome will give Drury the puppy eyes and take a discount with term to stay in NY. I hope that's not the case
I just dont see it with chytil, he doesnt move the puck quickly enough. Panarin when he is effective is a catch and move player working give and gos. That is his prefered game. Chytil is much more meticulous with the puck and when he tries to make rush plays he often times throws the puck blindly or right into coverages. That is one thing strome WAS good at, he was very good at the give and go game with panarin, the issue was neither would shoot.I think Chytil might be a good fit as Panarin’s center, especially if his two-way game continues to round out. He’s good on the wall. He can hound the puck. And probably the most important thing for Panarin’s line, he likes to shoot the puck. Panarin needs a shooter and not another passer like Strome.
Chytil needs to improve on faceoffs, continue to improve his shot, and continue to round out his game, and he can be a good complimentary player to Panarin or another creative winger.
Didn’t renew his contractHe did pretty well with WPG this year so i think he'll garner attention but yeah, maybe I overestimated how much he'd get.

Some guys don't like him around here, but I wonder if they would look back into Dvorak as a bottom 6 center. Promote the kid line, get Dvorak, maybe even with retention, and fill out the wings with Krav and Blais?
Panarin-Z-Kreider
Laf-Chytil-Kakko
Blais-Dvorak-Krav
Motte-Goodrow-Reaves/Hunt
As I said before, I am still an advocate of Blackwell, Paquette, Sanford and Carpenter.
Messier line: Kreider - Zib - R. Smith
Gilbert line: Panarin - Copp - T. Johnson (50%)
Hadfield line: Laf - Chytil - Kakko
Ratelle line: Motte - Goodrow - Blais/Reaves
Replace Hadfield with Fairbairn and Ratelle with Stemkowski.
