I was talking about that a couple days ago..
It might be more realistic than we think.. This year or the next
He looks like he’s absolutely miserable out there

Friedman has whiffed on most of his rangers musing over the past few years. It seems like he is basing his guesses on the stereotypical ranger move and not on rumors. He said we would be in on free agents last year FWIW.
The other guys, yeah they say it too. Dolan wants season tickets sold, kind of funny that he gave an interview at that special special time of year.
Gorton said something else. So are we dismissing the general manager because we think he is going to deviate from the plan for the first time, or because we want him to shop?
I have seen this being said on here all season long but can't find anything to corroborate it, do you have any links that would show he said this?Friedman has whiffed on most of his rangers musing over the past few years. Agreed with this 100%, and even if they did sign some big UFA's it still might be wise to trade him. But without that he should be gone by the draft.Let me say this. If we aren’t signing big time ufas I don’t see the point in not trading kreider. He’ll be 29 when that contract kicks in with nothing around him other than Mika. Makes no sense.
If he’s dealt at the draft I don’t expect us to sign anyone of significance and this will be a painful couple more years unfortunately probably wasting Mikas prime in the process.
Even if he did, not sure what team would want to add a 37-year old goaltender at 4.25M assuming they ate 50% of his cap hit.
What are people's thoughts on Fox returning to Harvard for one last year then going UFA next summer? Carolina has until mid-August.
He would be a good acquisition as a UFA but the hype train is starting to run away a little bit.
He's a solid top four prospect and he'd be a valuable young player to have in this organization.
If people are expecting to be completely blown away by what he does in the NHL, that's probably a recipe for disappointment and long HF Board threads.
He seems to project more as that 2nd pairing guy in the mold of a Hajek which would be a real nice addition but he doesn't project as a 25 minute a night all situation player like a Hedman. Not trying to downplay his skills because him and ADA on the right side would be AMAZING moving forward.
I've been trying to send this point home... Why keep Mika? He's in his prime and on a steal of a contract. If we're not going to attempt to compete, trade/package him for a young stud.Let me say this. If we aren’t signing big time ufas I don’t see the point in not trading kreider. It was mostly podcast stuff. I'm sure there is something written with the EK trade and JT signing where he figured us to be in the mix. I'm working so I won't be able to pull anything for a bit.I have seen this being said on here all season long but can't find anything to corroborate it, do you have any links that would show he said this?
The idea would be that the Rangers will be good by the time Zibanejad's contract is up, so it would make sense to sign him even though he will be 29. But who knows if that will even be true and if it's not they would have missed out on selling at his highest value before his NMC begins.I've been trying to send this point home... Why keep Mika? I'm not in that category though. I think we should go after Panarin

I haven't seen any of him outside of his game tonight but his skating looks worse than Shattenkirk's skating right now. Just 1 game though.Fox sounds exactly like young Shattenkirk from the scouting reports I’ve read.
