I'm guessing Georgiev to Vegas for a 4th or 5th
1 of Rackell or Lehkonen for the later of our 2nds and maybe a small prospect add like Hunter Skinner

Maybe Copp for a deal centered around nearly NHL ready prospects, Winnipeg wants a quick turn around, so something like Robertson + Kravstov

Then I could see us dealing Chytil and Nemeth in the offseason to keep both Copp and Strome

He’s doing ok. Great would be if he realizes which way the winds are blowing and decides to sell.

Regardless of whether it's all Igor or not, selling would send such a bad message to the players. As tempting as moving Strome would be (given this sellers market), I just can't get behind it.

You’re out of your mind dude. They’re not selling with 38 wins. Drury didn’t take over to continue a 10 year rebuild with players like Panarin, Zib, Shesterkin, Kreider and Trouba. What kind of message does that send to your team?

You can improve the team incrementally, like the Vatrano deal. I'm not wasting assets for a Cup run that is unlikely to last much longer than the 1st or 2nd round. This team isn't ready to win big yet. Shesterkin has played well, but he's never played in the playoffs (outside of maybe a game in the bubble 2 years ago) before and has never played the amount of games he'll have to to go on a long run.
And you can bet big money that the first round opponent will try to run Igor to take him off his game.

"Transition" is a bit nebulous and hard to measure.

I look at whether our defensemen are driving shots and scoring chances. Fox is very good at it (even strength -- PP, he's the best hockey player in the world at it) and Trouba is excellent at it.

At forward, we've been the worst team at generating shots for a decade. We should look into that instead.
