Times up for Kakko as the 1RW. Try him with Panarin again I guess, but he's useless on that first line at the moment.

Maybe try Fil as 1RW? I honestly have no clue anymore. I'd say Laf, but he's done nothing to earn it.

Laf Zib Kakko
Panarin Strome Chytil
Kreider Barron Goodrow
Hunt Rooney Reaves/Gauthier

And Turk needs to get KK and Laf some PP time in Strome's spot to develop confidence. Let Strome QB the 2nd unit.

I’m sorry but they aren’t trading kakko for a center, they literally have 1 good RW right now and it’s kakko

we have a 100 d prospects, trade them for a young second line center not f***ing kakko
With or without Kakko, the Rangers need help on the right side. That will come, probably in other deals. My point is that he is going to be made available and a center would be the best outcome for a return. If they did something sooner than later, Strome could always swing to the right side.

I sincerely doubt he will be made available.

Strome is a center not a right wing.

This year, this will be a hole. If Othmann (i know he's a LW but others can play the off side) or Kravtsov cannot make the roster next season, we will need to go out and get a RW. For now, play Chytil or Laf over there and see how they do.

btw, Jordan Staal hasn't scored in 27 games. Guys including youngsters based on linemates, usage and matchups go through extended dry spells. We have that with alot of guys right now. Lines need to change.

Yeah I don’t see how that makes any sense. You trade Kakko and your best RW is…. Kravstov?

Who I would bet major money Chris Drury is actively trying to trade at this moment
The tendency here will be to agree with you outright I am sure, but I find it very hard to believe that Kravtsov would have less than 14 points if he and Kakko had traded places this season. Kakko is not good.

Kravtsov had 4 points in 20 games last year and couldn't even score at a 0.5 PPG pace in the AHL in 1920. I don't know why you'd think he'd put up great production in the NHL.

Kakko was playing really well with Strome and Bread and Turk decided to move him to Zib's line and that just hasn't worked. Zib and CK are like boyfriend and girlfriend out there. They do not include the third linemate in the reindeer games and KK has suffered because of it.

More than 14 points = great production? And you know damn well the situation VK was thrown into last season and who he shared the ice with while here.

Yeah, yeah, I know. I also remember when Strome and Panarin wouldn’t pass to him. And when the kid line didn’t work. I watch the games.
