Speculation: Roster Building Thread - Part XXXII

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. Hartford plays both Saturday and Sunday this week. My guess is the team is bringing the max number of guys up to reward them for good play and get them to practice with the team in case they have another slew of COVID or sick players. They also receive a $500 per say stipend while on the taxi squad which seems trivial, but it's not nothing.

Actually we can fit him. So that is inaccurate. If we are discussing JT Miller with money retained then the same can be said for Scheifele. Works both ways. Also, if you forgot, this is the Roster Building thread. Your post is a waste of thread space.

They shouldn't be...i look at Timo Meir as a comparable, took him longer to get there but his skill was always present but his body wouldnt let him use it. I have some doubt that Kakko will be a 30+ goal scorer but i have no doubt Lafreniere will be. Having said that i always looked at Kakko like marian Hossa, may not be your top scorer but will likely be a good all round player that you need in the playoffs. I think our future is bright and them starting slow might be the best thing for this team as their contracts will be lower over the next little while. If both of them were putting up 35 goals now we'd likely be having some issues cap wise soon.

If Lindholm become available he’s a great option. A guy like him or Giordano would really help the defense. You could play them with Schneider and evenly distribute the ES ice time

That would be a deal i wouldnt be against, and watching Gallants press conference i dont think he likes Chytil on that line anymore. Sadly we will likely see Hunt there next game even though it should be Kakko with Strome and Panarin and Lafrieniere joining the Zib line.

I hope we don't go for Giordano, his foot speed has dropped off and we'd essentially be getting Shattenkirk again.

It is the roster building thread, not the wishcasting thread. Who’s next, McDavid with salary retained?
