Lets just clear it up that I am in no way supporting a waiver claim on NK.Yes, and I built on that fact. What's the problem here?

Reilly Smith is such the obvious move that I'm surprised it hasn't happened yet. He's a RW on an expiring contract who is already familiar with GG's system (in which he played his best hockey) and he should be available for a song because Vegas is cap f***ed when Eichel comes off IR. Drury needs to get off his duff, get Smith over here, and roll with something like:
Laf-Zib-Smith
Bread-Strome-Gaut/Goodrow
Kreider-Chytil-Kakko
4th line
Roll the top three lines and ride whichever line gets hot during the game.

I don't think @rangers1314 realizes how tight the cap is next year. Otherwise he wouldn't want Khudobin. So you're basically saying we should pick him up off waivers. I don't agree![]()
No you didn't fix it. Hajek played very well last night. He will almost certainly be in the lineup this week. Being showcasedfixed it for ya
This is true of about 3/4 of the trade proposals that are made here.I don't think @rangers1314 realizes how tight the cap is next year. Otherwise he wouldn't want Khudobin.
lol I didn't want the f***in guy in the first place! This is true of about 3/4 of the trade proposals that are made here.
Why would it happen yet? Vegas needs to win games. There’s no point in them making a trade before Eichel is ready even if that means they get less of a return later. Especially because for all we know by the time Eichel is ready to play someone else may get hurt and go on LTIR and they won’t need to trade anyone
Apropos nothing, I wish they'd shake up the PP lines a bit. Get either Laf or Kakko on PP1 and drop Strome to 2.
But how else you would claim that Drury needs to get off his duff? Why would it happen yet? Vegas needs to win games. There's always a way.But how else you would claim that Drury needs to get off his duff?

If the Rangers do get Khudobin like @rangers1314 is pushing for, I think Dallas will need to retain in a trade rather than it being a waiver claim.
There's always a way.
