Yeah I don’t remember his age at the time but I also don’t remember them being stacked at goalie either. I was hoping he would last to the Rangers pick! But TB didn’t really need one at the time. They had a youngish Bishop didn’t they?

There goes Holland, a pending UFA
It would cost us something we wouldn't want to give up. Chytil/Kravtsov to start off, maybe Pionk if Florida liked him, then picks.Huberdeau has a NMC kicking in next season... Good chance he's moved if FLA is serious about Panarin. They're a budget team.
What would you give up for a 25 year old LW 60-70pt player? Decent cap hit @ 5.9. You'd assume FLA would want cost controlled assets.
Pionk, Buch and Georgiev wouldn't be enough..
Plz be aware that “What the lighting have” is a fairly recent ideal.
Up until as recently as 10 years or so ago, the place was packed w 50/50 fans. It wasn’t until their recent resurgence that it’s become the place it is. Even when they won their cup.
It’s very fan friendly now but it’s BECAUSE they were struggling even after winning a cup that they’ve gone to the dog, pony and flea circus show that it is.
It’s a quality place to watch a game now, don’t get me wrong, but that is a new concept mostly.

Staal at 50%/$2.85M is a stealOnly thing I could see is something like Skjei and Buchnevich for Huberdeau and a prospect where the Rangers also absorb Reimer's deal. Supposedly the Cats were asking about McDonagh last winter so I would assume they're still in the market for D help.

This.I think i can safely say that if Huberdeau were to be traded, he wouldn’t get anything close to Chytil/Kravstov + a top 10 pick. That’s insane. Plenty of better players have been moved for less than that.
In other news.
If so, apologies. My point was only that they’ve built a fan base AFTER winning a cup. Not because of it. Also Hat Tricks is the only good bar close by... the area around Amelie isn’t that great. Dust parking lots, overpasses etc. Real Tailgate atmosphereGuessing you missed my first post because that was my point. It’s a new phenomenon for the lighting and it’s not just about tax breaks. It’s has been an effort by ownership and management to build something great. This tax advantage has been there since the bolts inception. The advantage part gets overblown.
Those OHL stats thoHolland was going to be useless to us anyway, and we managed to get back a 22yo RD who is putting up .5 ppg in his 2nd pro season. Nice!
Yeah, clearing cap right before his NMC kicks in. He's a left wing. Stepan was packaged with a goalie to get a top 10 pick and like a bad team's 7th best prospect.I think i can safely say that if Huberdeau were to be traded, he wouldn’t get anything close to Chytil/Kravstov + a top 10 pick. Yeah and to not just shit away 2nd round picks like we have for the last 10 years2 out of 3 of TBL's superstar forwards weren't picked in the first round. Every pick can be big if you get lucky and scout well. Hell, Johnson and Gourde weren't even drafted.
It's why it's imperative that we get as many draft choices as possible while rebuilding.
For me, it’s Carolina 100%. If I was a betting man, Carolina trades for him. They are desperate for high-end forwards. The only true elite guy they have is Aho. Teravainen is close. Svechnikov isn’t there yet. Staal, Ferland, and Niederreiter round out their top 6, but they need better players than that to have a shot at making an impact in the playoffs. Nino’s resurgence isn’t enough. Teravainen-Aho-Zucc could potentially be one of the filthiest lines in the league.Dallas is the team I can see having MAJOR interest in MZA
