could've been just acclimating to a new system after getting traded when he wasn't on the block. He's a smidge overpaid but his attitude and intensity are what you want on a team. I'm not looking to move him unless the offer is significant.

Yeah, I don’t know him, but something just seemed to be seriously amiss when a player gets traded to a new team and only cares about tweeting about how great his former team was while completely mailing it in on the ice.

Yzerman was willing to move one single roster player, think there was a reason for that. This guy seems to be as mature as a 13 y/o girl...

Why is Schenn playing LW, not C, here and why is Bozak 2C? Seems to me he was playing 3C. Looks like you’ve got a top-6 hole w/o Perron getting bumped. I think Zucc would look great with Tara.

Schenn was moved to LW on a line with ROR & Tarasenko a few weeks ago and has played much better than he was at C. As good as that line has clicked I don't see them splitting it up. I don't like Bozak as the 2C but that's another story. The Blues players between Blais and Kyrou would be something like a Sanford, Sundqvist, Barbashev type which are already NHL ready.

I like these players, but I don't know that any of them have top-six potential. Fabbri should be pushing Bozak, if he can ever get healthy. Plus, Steen having a slow year, due for a hot streak any day now.

13 y/o boys pretty immature also.

I wouldn't mind Pionk for Virtanen regardless of what they do with DeAngelo (though it looks like he will stay.)

Being Webby free is a massive win on its own.
Suppressed by many years of being calm and reasonable, Dr. Henry Edge has a psychotic break and turns into Mr. Edward Webster, ruthlessly trolling HFNYR with nonsense, circular arguments, and a deep and abiding mancrush for a Norwegian whose ability to grow facial hair matches his own.

My issue with them moving Pionk would be that Shattenkirk, ADA and Bigras would be the only remaining natural RDs who are in the NHL or close to NHL ready. Shattenkirk is a pending UFA next in two seasons.

Well that is not really the issue, it would really be what they come up with to add in a RD if that were the case.

Shattenkirk to TB. Rangers retain 50%. Callahan back to the Rangers.

Larry doesn't want to trade anyone. I don't believe he understands what the Rangers are trying to do. Carp is another one. The Rangers lose 5 in a row. He brings up the lottery and Hughes. The Rangers win 3 in a row. We shouldn't talk about the lottery and Hughes.

4. Isn’t there some sort of cap contained in the CBA limiting the number of Rangers on the Lightning? Apparently not, given Tampa Bay’s substantial scouting presence at the Garden last week. The league’s best team is on the hunt for a righty defenseman. Kevin Shattenkirk, for whom the Lightning had completed a conditional deal prior to the 2017 deadline before the defenseman rejected it, shoots right. Just saying.

This sounds too good to be true

Well goodness I hope there's more to the deal than that.

Lol well....

Alex Steen at 5.75 for 2 more years
Tyler Bozak at 5 for 2 more years
Jake Allen at 4.35 for 2 more years.

Steen(or Bozak I guess) + Kostin for Zucc + 2nd would be interesting to see. I frankly didn’t really consider that as a possibility.
That’s a pretty ugly offer
