We couldnt find time for a young Kravtsov in the Top 6 but we’ll find it for Tarasenko? I don’t see that happening. I know youre being sarcastic, just discussing it because I have already seen it suggested

You're confused about why a prospect who has shown nothing thus far could not find time in the top six yet you don't think we could find time in the top six for a player who has scored 30+ goals and 60+ points in each of his last 5 healthy seasons?

Not confused, just don’t think we are going to bring in that kinda salary and force it into a top 6 when we have young talent on a cheap ELC that we won’t put in a Top 6 and bump Kreider to the 3rd line.

The New York Rangers announced today that defenseman Adam Fox will miss the remainder of the season after becoming pregnant. Senior Advisor Glen Sather will work with Fox to help with all pregnancy-related issues and continue to consult with the team for next steps.

"We are really confused as to how this could happen. We thought we were taking all necessary precautions and even had Adam's defensive partner, Ryan Lindgren, sleep in a different room throughout training camp and the preseason," said James L. Dolan, executive chairman, MSG Sports. "Adam is a special part of this organization and we stand behind him as a family during this unexpected, and slightly concerning time. We are confident he will birth us a center that we can eventually pass on in the first round of the NHL draft in order to take a goaltender."

Currently in his third season as part of the Rangers organization, Fox has asked that the public please respect his privacy at this time.

It’s happened, this organization has officially broken our @Edge

I'm fully in the "What have you got next?" mindset right now.

If I had a boat, I'd be like Lieutenant Dan in Forrest Gump.

Oddly enough the organization does seem pretty good at selecting guys in the later half of the 1st round.

Andersson and Kravtsov obviously haven’t worked out

Chytil, Lundkvist, Miller so far have.

Oddly enough if we flipped the script a bit to re-write history and say the sections were more:

Chytil at 7, Andersson at 21

Miller at 9, Kravtsov in the mid-20’s

We probably are less hurt. In saying that, this is part of the reason why it’s SO important to keep accumulating future assets and picks where possible. Missed will happen. Can’t just relax now as the team enters the next phase because they will be getting better

I'm so confused. You all begged and begged for Jerry Gallant to come in and be our Ron Rivera. When they dragged Vermillion out of the building did everyone lose faith in old Ronnie? Now Chase playing like Trouba has people concerned, but in our case the puck hasn't even dropped yet. Get serious.

I'm sure the fact that we got a 2nd for Lias from an organization his Dad works for is no small coincidence. I really doubt we'll be so lucky with VK, especially considering he has less NHL experience. Not saying Lias is a better player by any means, but we would be lucky to get a 2nd for him at this time.

A 1 for 1 reclamation project as Edge mentioned is probably our best bet here.

Frankly after the captain debacle yesterday and now this, I’m just ready for the season to start

Tom Wilson better be coming out the arena in a neck brace tomorrow night after the game

Wouldn’t even surprise me at this point.

The asset management of this rebuild has been a joke.

Lias Andersson was a waste and is no longer here. Kravstov is about to follow the same path. 2 top 10 picks completely wasted. Our most valuable asset in McDonagh was traded for Howden and Hajek. Two more missed assets. Really need to hope lindkvist becomes a top pairing defenseman. DeAngelo is gone from the Stepan trade. Buchnevich was traded fro nothing. We got nothing to show for Zuccarello trade.

The Brassard trade was obviously a home run as well as the Nash trade. The Fox trade was the best one yet. But we are getting to the point where they missed on more than they hit during this rebuild. I don’t even want to think about how bad it will be if Laf, Kakko, Miller, And Chytil don’t take a major step.

A lot of people are talking about "asset management" here like that means something important to the season. I mean no offense to any of you when I say this but...who gives a shit.

The roster is talented, tough, and deep. Opening night is tomorrow and the Rangers are good...enjoy yourself.

Is any other organization as skilled as us in devaluing our own assets?

There is a certain individual that has been, some would call it having "good fortunate" to be in the same place at the same time while others would call it stalking our recent high draft picks. Now I'm not saying this, but people are saying that there might be a correlation between these encounters and the fact that all these high draft picks are ending disastrously. Idk if we should continue to allow these encounters to see if this phenomenon is a real thing or if we should shut this individual down ASAP for the well being of the organization we all cheer for.

Thoughts?
