Hey @Edge with this Kravy crap coming up, does this now reopen the door to the Larkin trade? They wanted kravy or Nils and a 1st. Can we still swing that deal? Then move out Strome for a 1st to recoup the one we gave up for Larkin?

Who knows? I don't know. All I've seen and the numbers represent that both players have played their best hockey of their careers together
I think any one being objective about it could say that it's Panarin making Strome the player he never was at any point in his time in the league.

Larkin/Hertl are the only way that I can see us limiting the pain here. I could see us forced to take just a 2nd or something and then he goes out and has a 30-30 season. Would be brutal. Drury better dig us out of this mess(that he at least partially caused).

That's not how it works. The sucker bet would be to give me better odds to make more money. Not worse odds to make less money.
People are pumping money into a bet they think they can win but the oddsmakers know they really wont. Vegas doesn't set odds so that you can win money they make it so they can. Rangers bet to win the cup on Vegas odds is as sucker bets as they get. They are a popular team so they will attract a lot of bets.

But hey, if you believe in them and their odds, put some cash on them and post a screen shot.

Both sides handled this poorly. I already said something was up when he did not make the teambuilding trip. The Great Rebuild... is more like the Great Lottery Luckout now. Oh well... I personally thought that Krav outplayed LAF in camp. And Kreider too... Gaut had a better camp than VK. So did Blais. Hunt? Meh... a good 1st game. Then nothing special. NYR asset management is terrible as always. Excuses are like bungholes. Everybodys got one.

I dont think its unreasonable for him to be unwilling to accommodate Gauthier and Hajek, who clearly did not earn positions with the club but made the club because of their waiver requirements.
He can be annoyed all he wants, and I agree with the logic.

But going this route AGAIN isn't the move.
