Vince has a child's brain, it's absolutely unreal.
The players on the ice carry most of the blameThere is absolutely no legitimate or valid reason to bring back Chris Drury. He's responsible for this shitfest more than anyone.
I don’t know man. The guy can barely move.
The players on the ice carry most of the blame
Then the coach, then the GM.
That said, I want both GM and HC along with Mika, CK, Panarin and Laf all gone
One of my former sources called me today (retired NHL executive) His message was pretty straightforward — several of the Rangers are fighting for their futures right now. If the team makes the playoffs, there will be changes but they may be measured. If the Rangers miss the playoffs the truck will be backed up. He thinks Laviolette and Drury are both on the edge and he suggested if the Rangers are eliminated, both may go before the end off the season.
Finally! They won the President's Trophy last year. This season was a disappointment but the woe is me stuff from Rangers fans is part of this culture too. We have no patience and are not owed anything just because the team has been around longer than most. Move on from the vets who have been here 7, 8, 9+ years and haven't gotten it done. The younger part of the roster is absolutely salvageable. We'll compete next year as long as this loser mentality is done away with.
Which is entirely irrelevant. You do realize that Zibanejad is ahead of Kreider in being "one of our best ever Fs" with 200 games less played?
CK will not provide a good return, he is damaged goods. No thanks, why would we want him in charge of any other moves especially when he's turned this team into a dumpster fire? Kreider is gone, Mika may or may not be because of his trade protection, that's all that's left. I for one don't want him in charge of a Kreider trade given all the "guys they have been targeting for a while" can't get into this shit lineup. Kreider should have a good return, as much as he's sucked this year I think most around the league realize he's not 100%. I could see us getting a Rick Nash type haul for him, I dont want Drury in charge of that. Drury should have been gone before the Kakko trade. He actually should have been gone when we started the season with Trouba on the roster, he bundled that big time by not getting his no trade list before making a deal. He's toast and I want another gm.
Nice that you too are now coming aroundWe dont know what either gm will do to be honest, why didn't Drury trade Kreider last summer? Lame duck GM's dont make trades for future success, they make them for right now, we need a long term plan and a gm with new ideas on how to be successful.
Brady wont be a Ranger but he definitely wont be a Sen. That guy is not staying in Canada foreverThat ship has sailed imo
He’ll be healthy by the start of next season. He’s absolutely trade-able and the return will be better than we think. The contract is not an issue. All GMs will see is a veteran guy with pedigree who scores 30 goals and had a down year because of injuries and a toxic atmosphere. Its happened over and over again in the NHLI don’t know man. The guy can barely move.
Mark Messier, come on down!!!If we move on from Drury.
I don't want anyone with a connection to this organization as the next GM.
Same old, same old.
No thanks to that.
Then you have to move on from Dolan as well.....and we know the likelihood of that happening. If we move on from Drury.
I don't want anyone with a connection to this organization as the next GM.

No thanks to that.
The team was built, it made 2 conference finals. The GM has had 4 years to build this team, it's gotten worse not better. Move on from him, new gm brings his staff, move Kreider, Mika if you can, but this GM has dug a hole for whoever takes over and there is a ton of damage done.
The team was built, it made 2 conference finals.
After last seasons failure, this was always going to be a transition year.
It's showing.
Honestly Bern, it is sad at this point.Which is entirely irrelevant.
And again, since you obv need for me to repeat it, there is a HUGE dif.
Kreider has been stud enuf to do all the dirty work in front of the net and get beat up.
Your wimp Meeka telegraphs his exaggerated 1 timer like he's Bobby Hull, and while not useless, is not the dominant force you infer.
Also most pronouncedly KREIDER IS AND HAS BEEN INJURED.
HE HAS A JUSTIFIED REASON FOR DECLINE
Zib .. does NOT.
There is always risk-rewardHe’ll be healthy by the start of next season. He’s absolutely trade-able and the return will be better than we think. The contract is not an issue. That's your opinion, and even tho it is wrong, you are entitled to itHonestly Bern, it is sad at this point.
You have no guarantee of that....back injuries are probably the most unpredictable of all injuries. He’ll be healthy by the start of next season. want to bet?You have no guarantee of that....back injuries are probably the most unpredictable of all injuries.
Are we sure that wasn’t him in the Brodzinski jersey.@SnowblindNYR is urgently buying a Brodzinski jersey as we speak
because we basically traded an unprotected pick for him in 2026. That was a big risk to take and its very possible we are gonna lose BIG on that gamble. What does it (possibility of being worse next year than this) have to do with JTM - who got here essentially for Chytil?
Turk Gallant took an EXPANSION TEAM to the Cup Finals....let that sink in . He had two great years in NY and then they fired him because Drury PISSED him off and the players ....the same ones we talk about here ....quit on him . Bust them up and find guys that work for their next contracts .....I doubt Turk ever comes back here so we will need to find a coach elsewhere that the guys will play for and guy that play for each other ....I am actually more upset with last night's loss than the previous debacle against Calgary. The talent gap between the Leafs and the Rangers is staggering. What is upsetting is that I just don't see a way for us to close the gap over the next few years realistically.
But, there are ways of being competitive when you don't have the skills to match the elite teams.
You need a defensive head coach first and foremost, who will install a system and make players defensively accountable, not only the actual D but the forwards. That coach is not Lavy. I don't know who it is, or who is out there, but continuing with our current coaching staff is not going to cut it.
We must be a hard-nosed, hard-working team. We know there are teams out there known for their work effort. That is not the current group. It does mean, younger, hungry players. We don't have many, but they must play bigger roles. Any moves we make must be to bring in this kind of player.
I've come to the opinion that we must cut back to the bone. Not easy to do with the Zib, CK, Panarin contracts. Frankly, to me the only untouchables on the team or Shesty and Cuylle. I guess Perrault should be included. I'm willing (easy for me to say) to get rid of everyone else, including Fox.
I fear, unless there is a drastic overall, we are in for a few really hard years.
