Can Soucy play either side?
It says he does in nhl 25 lol
Can Soucy play either side?
why? Why? Will it make Kreider stop coasting or playing injured? If not I'm not interested. He went from a "C" candidate to a sulking, lazy, selfish player. If he comes back healthy and actually puts the team first I'll like him again, if not, don't let the door hit him on the way out.
My understanding is that he can. And Drury said in his presser today that he canCan Soucy play either side?
Adam Fox acquired a baby.
Which part lolI'm getting too old for this shit
The team and the drama!Which part lol
What has Othmann shown since being drafted that suggests he’s anything special?Cut the kid some slack. He missed a lot of time this year due to injury. He just turned 22. So every prospect fe here on out, if they ain't a regular by 22 you want them traded. I guess you’re mad Jones isn't dealt cause he's not a regular yet? All prospects develop differently and at a different pace. He only played 8 games with Rangers and in his career. So if Perreault don't sign this summer, you want him dealt too?
I'm with you that Othmann is nearing a point where he's due to make some strides. He doesn't seem ready for the NHL to me but there's not much more use in him playing at the AHL level too much longer. What has Othmann shown since being drafted that suggests he’s anything special?
Maybe he turns into something and that would be great. But if not, I would like the team just once to move an asset before they kill its value
Perreault should be on the team this year the second BC's season is overSo do we try to force Gabriel Perreault or Noah Laba straight into the NHL next season and do we think either one is ready to do so
I would rather him here when at least one of Kreider/Panarin are gone. For once give a kid with talent a shot at serious pp1 time. sink or swim. Him getting no pp time and 3rd/4th line duty is no buenoPerreault should be on the team this year the second BC's season is over
I think if we are in playoff position with a handful of games to go that there is a shot we see Perreault this seasonSo do we try to force Gabriel Perreault or Noah Laba straight into the NHL next season and do we think either one is ready to do so

$14M. Miller and Cuylle need new contracts. More than half of the $14M will be spent on them.Usually over the offseason there's at least a 4/5 player change over.
We're already seeing a bunch of Rangers kids and it wouldn't surprise me if both Berard and Othmann finish out the year here. We're about 50/50 to make the first round I'd say and somewhere about 10/90 to make the 2nd round if we make the first round.
As far as the offseason it looks to me like the Rangers might have $20 mil about when free agency opens up but that said a lot of teams have been resigning their players before they hit unrestricted. There might not be a lot of market even if there's a lot of teams with money and that could lead to paying a lot more for less. Do I think the Rangers D is set for next year? No. We need a larger partner for Fox but we also need a defenseman on a second pair who can produce offensive numbers. The forward group still left we might get by with. I don't see us moving Panarin over the summer. Maybe during the season---depending on whether we bounce back, what kind of season he's actually having and whether or not he'll take a significant pay cut on a shorter term deal. Kreider maybe moves next year too.

WAY too old
but then again my friend, it is not how old you actually are
but how old you FEEL
just ask Peter Frampton

We already saw offer sheets last summer. Dallas signed Johnston yesterday. They were afraid an offer sheet.
How are the Rangers adding a D partner for Fox AND another D without subtracting money?
The Rangers are going nowhere with this core group.
Krieder or Panarin have to go in the offseason in order for us to make the cap. My choice is Krieder, I think it’s time. Even with the 6.5 coming off the books, We still wouldn’t be able to accomplish much more than obtaining cheap 3C competition for Jusso and slightly upgrading LD. We’d be out on Garivkov and Provohov. I wouldn’t trade CK for picks in the offseason but a young, promising, cheap LD or RFA.$14M. Miller and Cuylle need new contracts. b'c huffing and puffing to promote a false narrative obliges getting called out
for the umpteenth time
no one has the right to allege the bold
HE IS INJURED. LET THAT SINK IN
I don't know. Kreider, Othmann and Jones are gone. They will likely be used directly for a LHD, or be used to just free up space and spots.$14M. Miller and Cuylle need new contracts. More than half of the $14M will be spent on them.

this lineup is pretty trash though, unfortunately. you're not putting perreault in a position to succeed.I don't know. Kreider, Othmann and Jones are gone. They will likely be used directly for a LHD, or be used to just free up space and spots.
Lineup i added with pics has 4.7 million in cap space with only 1 position open on D and a moderate estimate on the cap at 95.5.
Doesn't seem too hard to add a good d man on the left. And maybe even Panarin is traded. Or Z. So could be more.
