Probably very true. It is a fact that among the teammates, he is highly respected and thought of. All you need to see is the interaction on the ice after periods end and at the end of games when they are skating off. Him being detrimental in the locker room is BS and being pushed by those on this board making things up because they despise him and want him gone.

Even if today comes up short, you can't fault Drury for trying. Considering where this team was, I think he did a pretty good job setting this team up with a new identity and a direction going forward.

It obviously depends on who the add is. For example if Tkachuk is truly available this offseason then Laf+Schneider would be on the table I think. If it’s Peterka than Schneider+Othmann. I think Kreider has to be moved regardless just to fit the team under the cap.

I understand your desire for that to happen, but that contract is toxic - no one is taking it without major retention or bad contracts coming back - then there's the matter of Zib having to give his consent to be traded.

I really would love to see Laf turn it around here, but as I said in the other thread i almost want him gone to stop talking about it and move on from it all.
I have no problems moving him in a deal for a BT or similar. But i gotta admit if it was straight up for Peterka i'd take a long look at it
