Same was said about Trouba and Goodrow and KakkoI hate to ask but… were you cosplaying as GM this morning? Tsk tsk.
Would Kreider be enough? Doubt
He’s been getting scratched though, no?
That is actually insane. That's a ton of value for Florida.Chicago is retaining $2.5M for next 5 seasons
Maybe that's why that video came out where Lavi was trying to talk to him and he just didnt care and skated away. Looked totally checked outWhat’s odd to me about Kreider is that he was seen either today or yesterday doing a bag skate. To me, that doesn’t scream something physically is wrong unless it’s something minor and upper body (hand, arm, shoulder). Could this be the Rangers ‘resting him’ and telling him that he has played his last game as a Ranger while also letting him heal? The move to IR allows them to call up someone to replace him while not necessitating Kreider to answer a lot of questions about not playing.
Call it a tin foil hat theory but with the way the team played the game against Pittsburgh where Kreider came out for warmups and then didn’t play makes me think that the decision may have been made then and the team was in ‘shock’.

No. Schnides ceiling higher and his tools are something we need. He's young and only going to get better. KeepWould you guys do Schneider for Byram?

Kyle Davidson should step down. He’s in over his head. Bedard will want out in a year or two, and I don’t blame him.5 years of retention is pretty remarkable

He’ll go to VancouverBedard forces a trade to NYR. I can see it now. I can feel it in my bones.
He’ll go to Vancouver
Maybe Carolina would take Panarin in a deal for Rantanan? Of course if Bread approves the deal.

Good theory. Definitely will hold more water with me if he’s out tomorrow too. What’s odd to me about Kreider is that he was seen either today or yesterday doing a bag skate. Didn’t NHLPA had an issue with that when this period of keeping expected to be traded healthy player off the lineup longer? We do start hearing about it more openly the closer TDL - like about nowAll the IR means is that he’s not likely to play tomorrow and they had a full 23 man roster and needed to open a spot to call up berard. If they wanted to hold him out for a trade they would just say it like every other team does (and they themsleves have done before)
Everything about Kreider has been handled strangely this year. Nothing would shock me.
Agreed but he did take the pregame skate
Reporters also said his shot did look like it had steam on it
Berard up is more to cover Smith who should be scratched and traded soon
I do think Kreider could be traded though
