Interesting how he's turning this roster over pretty quickly after giving them another shot to run it back and they shit themselves and then rolled around in it.

I just am not sure where it's ultimately going and how, even if they play hard and well next year, they get over the hump from just being a "decent playoff team" back to a contender.
Obviously it's going to start with Shesterkin actually playing up to his contract.
He wanted to turn over the roster this past off season. Trouba threw a wrench in the works.

Is this Kreider's way of making sure he isn't traded?

I hate the extra layer of speculation, but it was pushed earlier in the year when Kreider's name came up in reports that his camp was putting out the memo that he isn't healthy in order to deter a trade.

He plays in the 4 nations, and just before the 4 nations we watched him bust his ass flying down the ice for a goal. Then he comes back, sees it is the trade deadline coming, and oh yeah I can't play again now because I'm too hurt.

Video of Lavi following Kreider around on the ice trying to talk to him as he just goes through the motions during a practice and then sits out the next day hurt again.

It's weird.
Now we are questioning whether guys are really hurt? Come on please stop this BS Talk some real hockey instead of turning this board into a version of Real Housewives. And BTW the Rangers put him on the IL CK did not sign himself in. If the Rangers did not think he was injured and wanted to trade him why would they make that move. Just getting really silly around here lately.

Smith should go next.

Not because of who he is but he's an expiring UFA and there's really no reason he should be here going forward.
He should go asap b'c we don't want Drury making the same mistake Slats made w/Talbot, painting himself into a corner, winding up w/less

so don't try to squeeze a little more here
competitive bidding first decent offer pull the trigger

don't get why some peeps don't understand that his recovery could possibly be not 111% all in one direction all the time

It COULD be don't play, play reduced, play full tilt, place reduced, vary back and forth

But no, we have to crucify this guy
After he got injured b'c he was the only one who could deliver in the trenches on the PP and got beat up

disgusting

Would you guys do Schneider for Byram?
no
again, Byram early on injuries could = huge regret
plus I like Schneid

Yup. Kreider playing fake injured so he cant be traded. Hopefully he’s dealt the first day possible in the offseason.
not yup
NOPE

Hopefully he fully recovers and at that pt w/bread + others gone, there is realization it is smarter to keep

Definitely tin foil hat stuff. However, Kreider going into painstaking detail about what he was dealing with at a level players rarely ever do in season (if at all) was peculiar, if nothing else.
