Also, we should be looking to move panarin. If raantanen brought back necas plus then there should be something really nice we could get. He’s a cancer to our team now. He should be moved

Just listening to Pagnotta on the radio (don't shoot the messenger) that he's hearing Kreider being talked about.
I know Pagnotta doesn't bring anything news breaking just thought I would share.

If we can get a first plus something else I don’t see how we don’t move him. Him smith and panarin are next to move. Maybe even key.

The Rangers have 13 healthy forwards without Berard. Even if Kreider couldn't go tomorrow, they had an extra forward.

Is this Kreider's way of making sure he isn't traded?

I hate the extra layer of speculation, but it was pushed earlier in the year when Kreider's name came up in reports that his camp was putting out the memo that he isn't healthy in order to deter a trade.

He plays in the 4 nations, and just before the 4 nations we watched him bust his ass flying down the ice for a goal. Then he comes back, sees it is the trade deadline coming, and oh yeah I can't play again now because I'm too hurt.

Video of Lavi following Kreider around on the ice trying to talk to him as he just goes through the motions during a practice and then sits out the next day hurt again.

It's weird.

Surest way to get traded by Drury would be to fake an injury. Drury doesn't play games nor tolerate them for ling. CK has definitely been playing through discomfort since November.

Interesting how he's turning this roster over pretty quickly after giving them another shot to run it back and they shit themselves and then rolled around in it.

I just am not sure where it's ultimately going and how, even if they play hard and well next year, they get over the hump from just being a "decent playoff team" back to a contender.
Obviously it's going to start with Shesterkin actually playing up to his contract.
