I'm really intrigued about what is behind all of this. It can't be just "JT Miller doesn't like that EP40 is soft and not trying" or "EP40 doesn't like that JT Miller yells at him". There has to have been a serious off-ice incident of some sorts.

Dolan doesn't have to time to build a winner from the ground up. MSG is a publicly traded company and he can't waste a few years tanking revenues, and the Rangers are the second-richest franchise, behind the Maple Leafs. Dolan is also nearly 70, and I"m sure he wants to see a championship in his lifetime. This is NYC. You don't think he gets ridiculed for a losing team by his corporate-titan peers when he goes to his private clubs?

Smith has been a top 6 winger his whole career and is currently performing as one for us. To say there's no difference between him and Vesey/Brodzinski is comical.

It had something to do with EP's wife not liking a lamp that JTM's wife picked out for a story about the Millers' home in a Vancouver magazine.

Jim Rutherford basically confirmed in an interview that the rift between EP40 and JT Miller is real, it is affecting the team, and despite multiple people (including the culprits themselves) trying to work on it, it's not going away. So something has to be done.

I mean this is not exactly news, but for the president of the hockey club to actually come out and say that out loud is wild. The timing couldn't have been worse: the Canucks just won 2 games in a row for the first time since the start of December.

We are not going to trade the horrible krieder, nor will be get out of zibs contract until a few more years. Sadly this is our team for the next few years.

I don’t believe any of these players that everyone can agree needs to be shot off this team will be moved.
