it has toEspecially if it means Mika goes the other way.
And if Van is willing to retainEspecially if it means Mika goes the other way.
We'd be lucky for them to take Zibanejad. We can't be greedy and ask for retention on EP.And if Van is willing to retain
Amazing how that’s the takeaway and not “wow maybe somethings up if all these young players don’t want to be here”. I mean this stuff was happening years before they ever moved Trouba or Goodrow.players thinking they know better than the gm and the coaches has been a big part of the problem all along. Upset when Goodrow was moved. Shocked that the team would even think of moving Trouba. It's not very far from there to a player who says 'It's not fair. I should be in the lineup, not him'.
we'd have to retain on Zib and add a 1st and probably Perrault. We'd be lucky for them to take Zibanejad. We can't be greedy and ask for retention on EP.
Drury isn’t winning that tradeFor what EP would cost I'm not sure it's worth it. If there is anyone who handles criticism worse than Mika, it is Elias Pettersson.
Pettersson would be the best center this team has had in decades. They would be fortunate to get him.
The cost would be prohibitive however, they’re not just giving him away
Sadly he is the best center we’ve had in decades .People said that about Mika when he was 26 too.
which was also true….People said that about Mika when he was 26 too.

What are we doing here? Lol
there is so much that could go so much worse than an acquisition of Elias Pettersson, we should all f***ing celebrate if that happens.
I get that he has red flags but he's also a 26 year old center with 100 point potential.
Especially if it means Mika goes the other way.

This is also my concern. The cost would be absurd. Given how Drury has done with trades...Drury isn’t winning that trade
Maybe, maybe not, but I would think he wants out at this rate.So Zac a goner soon most likely
I don'tWe all want Pettersson until it costs Chytil, Perreault, Schneider/Laf, unprotected 1st. Because that’s the kind of package Vancouver will want.
The way to long term success isn’t adding a super expensive but good player. It’s getting rid of the bad players, especially the expensive ones. Especially with the Igor contract handcuffing our ability to spend on decent players on the margins.
