I disagree. I know you’ve never been a fan of his which is your right but the way he is moving isn’t normal fir him. Is he hacung a good year? No I’m not disputing that but he literally missed games with back issues. That doesn’t go away. I dealt with back issues playing basketball and it lasts a while. It’s not about him being “lazy”. I feel that’s a bullshit narrative since 201
He literally missed, 3 games, with back spasms? If he was so hurt he would be sitting out. This isn't the playoffs where you play through an injury.

And yes, he is a lazy player because you can see when he wants to go all out and start throwing his body around he does, which is extremely rare anymore. He enjoys collecting his paycheck while giving a half ass effort. Glad most people can see that now and not giving him a pass because he's "home grown".

I think it’s evident CK is dealing with a back injury. Obviously playing with a Center who has pretty much checked out doesn’t help. Not saying CK isn’t having a down year but he average what over 49 goals over the past few seasons and one of the better Rangers in recent history so it’s tough to completely shut in him
Kreider isn’t injured. He is just butt hurt

This is the same guy who was playing with a blood clot and came back a lot sooner than he should’ve . Yeah he is “lazy” alright 😂. Like I said he’s having a bad year but gotta be a tad bit fair

He has always had these lazy streaks his entire career. Its why he always annoyed me as a player. Its why i hope he never gets his number retired.

There's a special place in hockey hell for Chris Drury

Its not entirely Drury’s fault.

I blame it mostly on Quinn, Gallant and Lav.

All three knuckleheads that yanked the kids around and didnt force feed minutes to young top prospects like most clubs do. One mistake… boom demoted.

Also our team played with no structure for the past 6 years basically. The vets f***ed up his development just as much by tuning out every coach instantly, and really not embracing Kakko and other youth.

We really are a textbook version of how to screw up young top prospects.

Pierre Luc Dubois was traded. Zibanejad can be traded
we all need to stop venting and start thinking

if he waives, which is theoretically possible given the direction of things we need a relocation club that he agrees to that will take him w/1-2 retaining, and giving us chump change back
that sucks but we recover 4.25 structural cap
and it is addition by subtraction

no more putting his shit on top of Kreider's shoulders

WHERE might he go THAT WILL TAKE HIM
I say VAN esp if one of Pett/JTM moves
or
MAYBE lak, but after PLD, I doubt it

I dunno Drury is pretty goddamn bad. His track record for trades is awful and we have lost many picks. Basically Trochek is his best signing. He was also fortunate that Gabe P somehow fell all the way to 23 in the draft

I hope Kakko becomes the player we hoped for. This org deserves it. They need to learn to put high talent offensive players in the high talent offensive positions.

No, they dont need to "learn the game". They probably know it much better then you, ya dunce.

I worry for Perreault and whoever else we may get this year.

Dont get me wrong… i think Drury is absolutely awful.

But developing players is not his job. Thats the coaches. Though he does hire them and he has done a shit job at picking coaches soo….

Regular Panarin gone summer 2026. Swedish version is locked up. And a center
We can't add an expensive center without removing one. If we are going that route and we actually want to win, we have to remove Mika. So, unless Vancouver is willing to take Mika back and Mika is willing to go there, there's really no deal to be made.

Did Kreider magically heal in the middle of the 2nd period last night?

He isn’t hurt, or at least hurt enough where it’s going to make a huge difference his in his play. He looked at good as he has all year from when the game was 2-1 till the end.

It’s all about engagement with him. The 1 assist is a statistical anomaly that will fix itself with time. He legitimately could have had 3 or 4 last night.

I get that but you have to get the right players and moves. Look at Nemeth. Signs him to a stupid contract then had to trade multiple second rounders to fix his mistake. Trading Buchnevich for a bag of chips was one of the worst trades in recent memory and we never could get a RE to replace him.

He definitely isn’t moving like he usually does. He has admitted he was overthinking things in his career but that’s different that laziness. Look I’m not saying he has been good but I think is clear he is t 100 percent but what don’t know. I mean he has what 120 goals the past 3 seasons alone?

You are right there's no reason to pile Zib's failures on Kreider's shoulders. There is plenty of evidence to pile Kreider's failures on his own shoulders.

I have a horrible feeling they are going to move Trocheck
