As to getting the chance to demonstrate improved play, that is a matter of practice; the club does not have to accept/suffer bad player performance while he works it out. Also, it is the club who has sole discretion of interpreting if scratched player's game is now acceptable, no one else. This means you do have to give Zib 1x/wk or 3x/mo 'opportunity', but everyone goes through the motions and that's it.
