I think we try to trade Shattenkirk at 50% retention. If we can’t, we trade Pionk. I think we will see lefty D get plenty of time on the right side next year between Hajek, Rykov, and Claesson.

I’m hoping we target Moritz Seider in the draft. Would be a perfect fit on the right side in 2 years or so.

Miller is big. Lindren plays big. Keane plays big.

But they are a bit undersized overall. Especially when Staal leaves, not that he plays an overly physical game.

Yea they are going to replace Shatty when kids develop . May get beat up for a few years . I’m really not shocked if McQuaid returns as a depth guy

I’d move Pionk but Fox and DeAngelo May be redundant

Left side is bigger with Skjei (6'3), Staal (6'4...you know he's gonna finish his contract here), Hajek (6'2), Smith (6'2), Miller in the future (reportedly 6'5 now!!), Rykov (6'2)

It's unfortunate that all their size is on the left side, even Lundqkist on the right is 5'11, but ultimately you're just seeing who makes it at this point and if all of the sub 6' guys show they deserve a spot then you figure it out later.

I mean Boston has both Krug and McAvoy who arent very big guys and seem to be fine with them given that they get the job done.

Probably not much right now. He's moved around too much, hasn't completely established himself in a lineup. If he stays in the lineup all next season and puts up points then he'd have some value, though you'd then ask why trade him?
