The reference I made to Kucherov was that signing a bridge deal worked out in his favor, and then I followed that comment up by saying there are reports saying Dubas has offered Nylander a contract comparable to Pastrnak.
The article I read also suggests that a short term bridge deal is also an option.
NHL Rumor Roundup: Maple Leafs, William Nylander nearing point of no return
Is it just me or has Jesper fasth been playing like ass the last 2 or 3 weeks?
That isn't a bridge deal.
Yeah, I get it. I got it the first time.
The bridge deal worked out pretty well for Kucherov. There are multiple reports that Toronto has offered him 6 years and 6.5m+ too.
That isn't a bridge deal.
Feel bad for Hagelin, guy can’t stick with a team for long.HaGelin traded for Pearson to LA.
Ok.Like I said, I got it the first time.
I would just point out that Nylander gets way less PP time than Marner despite a crazy pp points per 60. He would have been a pp/g player with that time. He's undervalued/utilized in that capacity. The Rangers should be scouring the league for guys who are undervalued. Teams who need cap space. Teams with young players who they aren't utilizing correctly. Nylander doesn't check any of those boxes.
That's not to say he wouldn't be a welcome addition to this core but at this point in the retool/rebuild I wouldn't give up multiple assets for him.
I don't like it for Pit. Pearson is meh. And his contract sucks.Feel bad for Hagelin, guy can’t stick with a team for long.
I kind of like it. Maybe swap Zucc and Vlad. Poor Lias, though.
Sandbagging.I feel like the time on the 4th did a lot of good for Chytil's game.
How so? Think he is there as there simply is no other place to play him.Lias getting the Chytil treatment.
