Tro basically said there was.
I’m pretty sure I posted that interview and I believe that Vince is not publishing the full quote.
Before Trocheck said that, I believe he first first said nothing was said in the locker room.

I answered your ?s and I will not repeat doing so until you get the facts right.
You said:
"If Drury went to Zib and told him he would never play again unless he waived his NMC, the players association would be involved in a nano-second, they would be right to get involved, and they would win whatever complaint they lodged."
THAT is TRUE.
BUT that is not the official line
The official line is, since you are playing so piss poor, we cannot give you mins.
Show up for practice, and if, in coach's judgment, you are a better option, you can play; otherwise, you sit.
NHLPA may not like that loophole, BUT THAT IS LEGAL
so yr pt I did not present an effective reason is wrong
Again, ditching zib is addition by subtraction
half a bad loaf is better than a full bad loaf
ADMIT that is true
The rest of this, you want immediate gratification, instant answers
That is usually not an option
Life is usually complicated, not simple.
It will take more than 1 move
this IS the first step
pls give up the false notion zib is worth trying to keep
he is not
The hatred of drury in that locker room goes back wayyyyy before barclay goodrow.
Lindgren, fox and vesey in particular really did not like how things went down with TDA. Yes, I know vesey wasnt on the team at the time but all those guys are close. And they viewed it as drury maliciously trying to torpedo tda’s career with zero remorse when he just as easily couldve traded him.
Trocheck is also one of tonys best friends and while yes, he signed here after what happened with tony, he naturally came in skeptical of trusting drury as a person.
The thing is, guys like trouba and kreider didnt mind as much as they werent as close with tony. Now, drurys gotten that crew to hate him too so he really has very few allies left. It’s as toxic and it can get.
Either a good chunk of the vets are moved out or drury goes. This is nuclear

These guys are not brain surgeons. Or even married to brain surgeons. What has Chris Drury done?
- Taken away no perks (we'd hear about that),
- Gave Goodrow a ridiculous contract and waived him after a 4 goal season
- gave Mika a ridiculous buyout proof contract
- Took care of Igor with another buyout proof contract
- Added as much as he could at every trade deadline
- Gave them a players coach after Quinn was uhh I dunno asking them to forecheck once in a while
- Gave them a detail oriented coach when the players coach was too lax
- Set it up so none of them had competition this training camp for their jobs
I fail to see what, exactly, could possibly be so upsetting after they played like they were quitting on the West Coast swing. Is their direct deposit late???
Interesting...
Especially since this went down under Gorton, not Drury.
It was 100000% drurys call on the tony stuff fyi. I can tell you this for a fact with inside knowledgeInteresting...

If any of this is remotely true it really does cement this playing group as truly and completely unlikeable. The hatred of drury in that locker room goes back wayyyyy before barclay goodrow.

So it was the assistant GM, and the GM of Hartford, who made the call to waive Tony?
4:50 mark. Listen to the man in charge.
Vesey wasn't even on the team at the time. If he had such a problem with Drury, why would he sign a 2 year extension for league minimum?
Sorry pal. Not buying what you're selling.
The problem is that your claims don’t hold water and the most reasonable conclusion is that you are just making these things up because you’re a DeAngelo stan.1) I’m not really debating you/speculating, instead I am telling you
2) vesey came in on a pto and loves ny.
Again, not here for a debate, just stating a fact that I know with not 99% certainty but rather 100% certainty
Tro basically said there was.
Why dont you ask larry. Pretty sure they have an insiders chat where you can askThe problem is that your claims don’t hold water and the most reasonable conclusion is that you are just making these things up because you’re a DeAngelo stan.
