I am a Nashville predators fan coming in confusion. I heard you guys are still looking at Steven Stamkos would you be willing to trade Mika Z? That is the only trade I think that would help my team. I’m not sure what’s going on with yours. You could tell me to go to hell or whatever. I’m just trying to get some clarification. I hear a rumor that New York is still interested in Stamkos

I wonder if the leak to Brooks came from the Tkachuk/Oster camp. I don't see why Drury would leak this info to Brooks and risk pissing off the Senators to the point that they wouldn't trade Tkachuk to the Rangers. Obviously, the Senators wouldn't reveal any information.

The Rangers one other Oster contract is with Casey Fitzgerald. As I mentioned last week, I find it fishy that Drury gave Fitzgerald a one-way contract for next season. It seems like a way to entice Brady to NYR.

This would make 2 HCs that can't get these guys to play a structured game consistently.

The coaches we hired right back to AV used the man to man, never worked for any of them and each one got canned. See a trend? BTW, they are playing a structured game, they just can't keep up to other teams forwards and it all falls apart. The structure is to stick with a man, everyone has a man to stay with, when you cant turn on a dime ie Trouba, Miller, Lindgren, etc or not quite big enough to handle bigger players ie Fox, Jones then you are left with 1 dman that can play the system you are trying to implement and thats not even talking about the forwards. It's nonsense, you can easily change the system to a zone d, it's much easier than trading away your d core and half your forwards. They use zone d on the pk and were one of the best in the league at it, I feel like I'm taking crazy pills with this, maybe the coaches like getting fired? Who knows.

If anything has been proved over the last 6-8 months it’s the Rangers will leak things and not consider the consequences. Or just not care about them

So I don’t put this past Drury and the team at all quite frankly. I know people make him out to be some guy who operates in the shadows, it’s really not the case lol
