Idk that's John Davidson's problem. If no one claims him trouba goes to Hartford. if he doesnt report his contract gets terminated. Thats the path this is going. But it seems like he will get traded.

Trouba decides to be waived and leaves it up to chance to spite Drury in receiving nothing in return in an agreed deal.

Although 8m free and clear is probably the better of the two

A first or a high end prospect would be worth it.

A third or low end prospect I'd rather have full cap relief.

A second rounder would probably be worth it too but only because we have none.

IIRC Gudbranson had some amazing advanced stats his pre UFA season with Calgary. When Calgary had that also amazing season.
