If you could spell Taylor Hall with TJ Oshie, then sure!If they got TJ Oshie would they win the draft lottery?

sounds personal.
He he is great player. What is so bad about him.
If he’s a real leader he’d meet deep in the woods 1 on 1...it wouldn't; Landeskog would jump in and tool on Miller...![]()
Miller is bigger and stronger. Also he fights his own battles. If it came down to a street fight I’d put my money on miller assuming they met up 1 v 1 one to settle the beef

Brewer versus Bruce Lee?Miller is bigger and stronger. Also he fights his own battles.
MacGinnon is stronger at his skating stride but that's not gonna save him.
Miller wins easily.
Not how that usually works out, in my experienceMiller is one of the fee players in the league that could handle Nate. Miller’s wgo is probably bigger than Nates!

That was a 2 on 1 IIRC
Losing that was the best thing , unless you think they would've went for Makar at 1The Aves lost the lottery twice in a row while having the best odds.
Could have had Jack Hughes. Sucks to be them. Needed a TJ instead of a JT.

Exactly! Miller had a chance to play on a legit Cup contender whose top players are in their primes. He’d be contending for a Cup pretty much every year of his contract. But instead he chose his personal life (location) over opportunity to win the Cup. For sure that’s something he’s earned with his NMC but he’s not winning the Cup with that aging core of the Rangers of which he’s now an aging part. They are exiting their prime years. To go to the Rangers. What a moron.
Ive been super happy with the way Chytil has played. Puck Skills and Speed have been very impressive. I dont think Chytil has reached anywhere near his potential. I can see him being a 2C 60-75 point player.
If the main piece coming back from Avs was Mittlestadt then I'm glad JT rejected that.
yes the saltiness is overblown. Guy wants to win and players that don't care are nonchalant or don't pull their weight he has no issues calling them out and getting into fights with them if they are undermining what he wants to do. It might have gone too far with 1 individual but every story has 2 sides and there has been plenty of rumblings of players being upset he's goneWhen a player blocks a trade to a contending team you can expect when that's found out there's going to be some salt going back towards him.
Almost from day 1 he's become the Rangers best player and part of that may be because he hasn't been part of the country club atmosphere that's permeated through the top players of this year's Rangers team. He's played hard on both sides of the puck...has not been making brain dead plays or giving up on plays. He's been very physical all the time. So so far anyway I'm happy having him here. And FWIW some of our team needs someone to get into their business as far as why they're playing half assed hockey.
Colorado dodged a bullet with that prima donna… MacKinnon would have eaten him alive.
Do you think they could have reached Devastator level? The people saying miller couldn’t handle MacKinnon maybe don’t have a ton of experience with these types of people? There’s an equally good chance they combined to form a kind of douchebag-Voltron, the ultimate alpha bro. I’m not even saying g this as a criticism, I think it’d be great.

Is it too much? At times it is and he has some of his own consistency issues and past that make him seem like a bit of a hypocrite and things can get spicey because of it. On ice he's a general and sets up plays like a coach. He was always working on set plays and communicating in Vancouver. He was stand up with media and his wife did a ton of great community stuff. His loss has gutted the team of a rare PF that could score 100pts.
Bruce Boudreau in an recent interview had told about how much he would do to get the team together. Hosting events and parties and making arrangements for everyone and their wives/GFs to have a good time/bond. He's a huge presence so if you're in his cross hairs or don't like him everything is going to be magnified.
Big loss for the Avs though. He would have been amazing 1-2 with MacKinnon.
Things is he had family and friends reasons for NY and they still have a good team if they can spark some fire back into the group. Him and Trocheck are old buddies i bet they get it going.
Presumably would have been Mittelstadt+ as the basis.
