Seems likely either Fast or Zib needs to stay out for longer. So who is out or going down?

Andersson is finally getting to play top six minutes, but Chytil is going to be stapled next to McKegg and Haley playing 6 mins only on the PK.Time for Quinn to ruin Chytil and Lindgren too.
Watching Kreider the last couple days, I’m ready to move on. He is still a great player, is a difference maker, but is not taking any team across the line on his shoulders. He’s starting to show that he’s hit his peak, and will not be worth any contract that he’s willing to sign in order to stay.
Lindgren and Fox have history. Odds are Staal stays in, just something to keep in mind.
Weird to think we could have a lineup where four members of the defense are from the U.S., including three from Minnesota.
It's no McAvoy, Krug, Grzelcyk that's for sure.
Tobias is another vanilla player, exactly what the Rangers do not need.
So we shouldn't overpay to keep Fast, but lets get into a bidding war for Kyle Clifford.Rangers should target someone like Kyle Clifford. UFA at seasons end. Rangers definitely need guys that can play a regular shift and play with a nastiness to their game consistently. Getting Lemieux was a start but Crouse and 1st for Kreider might be a deal that I can see happening especially with Kreider's chemistry with Stepan. Yotes might overpay for that chemistry
At this point I think a change is for the best all-around. I think the Rangers are proving that they need more ammo to hedge their bets, and I think Kreider would work best as a rental for a team needing a unique addition to round out its top six forward lineup.
While I’d prefer to land a younger, NHL-ready prospect, I think the odds say we’re probably looking a first and a B prospect again - not that there’s anything wrong with that.

Plus take back a contract I would imagine.I wonder if a team like Carolina, which has an extra 1st this year, could be a landing spot for Kreider. What else would the Rangers have to add to Kreider for a Bokk/2020 1st package...maybe add Fast into the deal?
