I am going to call it now, Skinner is going to sign dirt cheap somewhere, like Colorado, and put up 60 points and 35 goals
I wonder if he will be dirt cheap. For all his negatives he is still a proven scorer. If the pre is right teams should be interested.Skinner buyout details

He should be, he's going to be making plenty of money from that buyout still. Signing cheap for a contender where he gets a role in the top-6? Do that for a year, then cash in for one more big deal next summer. He would be 33, all goes well and he could get 4-5 more years I think.I wonder if he will be dirt cheap. If Vancouver can't land Guentzel, I wonder if they go after Skinner.
Skinner is being bought out
Sign me up at the right price. Guy is a corsi monster on a couple of bad teams.
A bit different with the cap going up much more than it did then.Well we just saw the same thing with Duchene last offseason and he signed 1x3.
Another soft, lazy scorer. No thanks. I dont see how a guy like that, who has never even sniffed a playoff game in 14 years, gets us closer to winning a Cup. Would be crazy to go for Skinner when Kane is available for just money too.
How about neither?
wasn't sure where to put this
Right on. Always depending on the cost, of course.I don't think Zegras is what this team needs right now, unless he's replacing Chytil. But I do think he ends up here ultimately. Training with Kreider & Prentiss is huge, because even if you think he's a bit distracted in his career now, I think attaching him to the hip with Mr. Ranger will lock him in.
If Drury is really looking at young "buy low" guys like Farabee and Zegras (and hopefully McGroarty), I like that line of thinking. We'd become a better team and get younger, and put a stable of players around Fox and Lafreniere's age range, for the next era.
If he will really sign cheap should we be in on it? We need scoring. He is a legit 30 goal guy with speed. He should be, he's going to be making plenty of money from that buyout still. Wow I did not know that. Interesting. Do you think we should look in to him if Skinner is willing to sign for 1 year at 3 mill?Well we just saw the same thing with Duchene last offseason and he signed 1x3.
So you mean...I can't blame him anymore?wasn't sure where to put this
For me I will print it out and place it on the inside of my bathroom door.wasn't sure where to put this
Considering every single ex-Sabre seems to win the Cup these days, YES! YES YES YES!If he will really sign cheap should we be in on it? We need scoring. He is a legit 30 goal guy with speed.
