So thats a good reason to not play your best D prospect in a pre season game? The other 5 except for Benoit are also going to the AHL, so shouldn't any of those be a scratch too? It might not matter in the long run but in the short term, it gets you an idea of the coach's thinking.
He has some explaining to do.
