Prospect is Artem Grushnkov. 2nd round pick in 2021, seems to be a stay at home Dman playing in the ahl.
I'm not surprised it was you.I deleted it because it was spam.
I have no problem with you.I'm not surprised it was you.
Even if it was actually spam, was it so egregious that it would have killed you to revise the content and delete the extra ' no's, instead of going to the nuclear option of deleting, which arguably could be viewed as censorship, since that choice also eliminated the opinion on keeping Rempe?
I don't have this prob with ANY other mods.
btw
I would say something but anything further would cross the line.
It would b e a major mistake long term to deal any of themFeels like the only 3 players he would be looking at would be Kakko, Rempe and Edstrom.
LaF + Perrault + 2025 1st + Lindgren + VeseyI know you have your sources, but I would have to agree that the Rangers won't want to part with Laf now that he is really getting better every game, and with better luck would have even more points. At the same time, Ottawa likely wants nothing less. So chances are we will miss out on another Tkachuk and it will be unfortunate.
Rangers would probably offer Kakko, Chytil(cap and potential for his return), 1st and maybe Lindgren? Fun to think about. Would likely add a prospect too.
Also, I feel like he is a pretty strict LW. Last thing we need. Haha
no keep kkKakko for Zegras tho? That intrigues me more in the summer but it does intrigue me
NO to CFCan Cam Fowler still play? He’s always been a top 4 guy and can play both sides. Not much size but I’ll take a good defenseman. Just thinking outside the box while we’re on the Ducks
see above packageStraight up?
Other pieces would have to be involved. Tkachuk would bring something the Rangers top 6 don't have, but Lafreniere is finally becoming a useful top 6 player. I would prefer to leave Lafreniere out of it, but OTT would want him included. Other pieces OTT would want, I'd be reluctant to make that trade either. Price would be too much for me. Others on here would likely disagree LOL
I think that really kills the market for defenseman tbh.Tanev went basically for 2 -2nds so that’s good for buyers I’d think . Probably the top D rental
With them doing that, I'm guessing they won't be trading for a goalie until the summer. So the Devils got a 4th to retain 50% of the 50% the Flames retained, so Dallas got Tanev at 75% retained.
We gotta get forward help to slide Brodzinski and Vesey down. Have to do it. I prefer Kakko on the 3rd line with Cuylle — well truth be told I prefer Kreider on the 3rd line but that aint happening.

This is the way. The way Rempe and Ed look should give Drury some bargaining power in a buyers market. Getting a Jenner or Gourde type would be costly but it’s what this team needs so bad.
A random thought.
Verbeek at the game tonight; I will guess he’s going to want Gabriel Perrault included in any trade(s) with Drury.
Perrault wouldn’t be available for anything verbeek would likely want to move.A random thought.

Perrault wouldn’t have fallen to us in a redraft.
He also wouldn’t attend our game if he wanted to watch Perrault. Rempe tho
He’s here to talk, not taking anyone home with himFeels like the only 3 players he would be looking at would be Kakko, Rempe and Edstrom.
We finally have an enforcer, and a young one at that!Rempe is not getting dealt. Teams would take liberties with the Rangers again.

Non elite playoff position? 3/4 of the way in the season they are first in the metro and first overall in points. All teams in this position will be looking to buy. How aggressively they buy and what they give up remains to be seen. You can't get them for a 4th rounder because it's an insane sellers market right now (as it usually is).
This is also why selling is the way more beneficial thing to do. This hockey culture of "you have to buy or the locker room revolts," is a pure myth and it's a foolish way to manage your assets.
Expensive renting almost never is worth it, almost never pans out in winning a Cup. You will increase your odds of winning a Cup by selling from a non-elite playoff team rather than buying.
We have seen the story with Vatrano. He's not moving the needle. His production is PP production which he wouldn't get here.
Henrique is an upgrade (maybe, depends on if he fits in, we've seen plenty of rentals NOT fit in) on Brodzinski but that's not saying much.
Again, there is very little history of expensive rentals boosting a team with major holes over the top. Yet we always fall for this trap.
I'm sure this team will stupidly overpay like they always do and then yet again not win a Cup and yet again next year we will have the same cast of characters telling us how we have to overpay again because we have holes. Holes that we could fill long term if we just stop renting and then we'd have a surplus.
I don't know how many times we need to see this story play out. The "we have to rent now," narrative is just pushing false hope. Let's increase our odds from 5% to 7%! And we will sacrifice a chance at another Perrault for that miniscule chance.
