He's tied with Trocheck for 2nd most even strength goals on the team. At 5 on 5, he's 2nd on the team to Panarin in goals per 60 at .94 (Not counting Edstrom, who has 2 goals in limited minutes). That number is better than Marchand, Petterson, Hintz, Aho, Robertson, Suzuki, Malkin and Matthew Tkachuk. Oh, and Connor McDavid, who is at .81 per 60. For 6.5 mil per year, that seems like good production to me.
He has always been more of a goal scorer than playmaker. If his center is ass, there's not much he can do about it. Mika isn't going anywhere, however. We have to hope that he figures it out.
