Honestly just trade him before we tank his value even more.
Has namestnikov started off the season in quinn’s doghouse
How about the D?
Or are we going to continue to pretend like Staal is still good?
He is going to be given a while before Quinn even begins to think about sitting him down. That may well happen, but he is going to have to be consistently putrid for at least 20 games. Or so I believe. How about the D?
Or are we going to continue to pretend like Staal is still good?
He has been doing a pretty good job by himself in that aspect. Picked up right where he left off from.Honestly just trade him before we tank his value even more.
That Mcd trade is looking worse and worse.
Yeah, did that guy close his eyes when Howden was on the ice? He was fantastic.Yeah sure if we ignore the other pieces.
Sure, if we act like Namestnikov was a key piece in the trade. That Mcd trade is looking worse and worse.
Could just be me but it looked like he gave Quinn some grief when he was asked to go serve the too many men penalty.Yep.

The guy has done absolutely nothing since he's been here.Has namestnikov started off the season in quinn’s doghouse
All right thats pretty funnyNa me Na me Na gonna be here long so no worries there
Miller should have been dealt separately for picks. Look at the haul that Detroit received for Tatar.except that we did throw in a bull of a homegrown forward in JT Miller who probably puts up 60 plus pts this year. We gave up a ton in that trade. Mcdonagh I'm not sad to see go but including Miller and taking this guy back thinking he was a player? he's horrible. Id be looking to trade him all day long. for anything.

Players like Staal at this stage of their careers are here to take the abuse from top players in this league while our rookies learn the ropes and develop.... we’re not really going anywhere this season so I don’t see a problem reallyI'm not going to speculate on leadership and what's happening in the room anymore.
My thing is, Staal being the "permanent A" indicates they're going to play him a lot and never considered sitting him. That's rather upsetting.
We would’ve gotten less than what McPhee gave up because he made a panic move when he couldn’t get Karlsson and everyone would be mad for a different reasonMiller should have been dealt separately for picks. Look at the haul that Detroit received for Tatar.
He's a people person. He has people skills!Seems like you are jumping to conclusions.
He will get traded, and we’ll get a decent return. We don’t even have all the pieces yet from the McD and Miller trade. One has yet to be drafted, and one has yet to be flippedexcept that we did throw in a bull of a homegrown forward in JT Miller who probably puts up 60 plus pts this year. Seems that way, he was the only ranger with under 10 minutes TOI last night, and he served the too many men bench minor. Hopefully he can turn it around, otherwise at least from an asset management standpoint that would be a bummerHas namestnikov started off the season in quinn’s doghouse
