Thankfully he signed with Tampa. I doubt they move him, even though they've only played him in 12 games and he has 1 point.

He was injured. He hasn't been a healthy scratch.

Honestly with Kakko out, might just go 11/7 for a while if Fox is healthy. Jones has been decent and this way you can lighten the load on Fox a bit/keep Gustafson fresh/etc

With Kane mercifully off the board and Kakko staring down a season ending injury, Corey Perry is becoming at least somewhat interesting. He is ancient but He can still play that hard nosed style in front of the net that we lack. Even last night we had trouble getting to a lot of rebounds. Perry certainly hasnt held back the Stars, Habs and Lightning over the last 5 years. If everything is ok with him off the ice and Chicago retains 50% Im sure the cost would be negligible.

If the Rangers retroactively place Chytil on LTIR, do they lose any cap they banked going all the way back to when he would have been placed on it or just moving forward?

It's too early for either Berard or Othmann. Let them continue to play well. This is what Brodzinski and Belzile were brought in for. Once Chytil is back, move Vesey up and roll with Pitlick-Bonino-Goodrow as a 4th line. We're probably talking 1-2 games before Chytil is back

If they need a depth RW, it’ll likely just be Belzille. He had a good stint with MTL last year, can play 4th line W with Vesey replacing Kakko, and the move won’t rush someone like Othmann. None of the HFD kids are ready yet. Let them keep growing in top roles in a winning environment.

5-9-14 in his last 7 Games. He's tearing it up down there. Leads the AHL in points with 2 or 3 less games played because he was called up

Goaltending has been an issue with the Wings this season.

Nothing gets banked. If anything, we lost a little bit of deadline space with callups.

Hes dominating down there. He's the guy. Its not like you are losing anything offensively with Kakko out

Nash is SLOW.

Brodzinski has some positive attributes even at the NHL level. His skating is solid, he can play wing or center, he isn't shy about some physical contact and he likes to shoot the puck.

I'd love to see either Othmann or Berard but its too soon for that.

I mean it’s kind of interesting right?

Kakko did a lot of stuff so are you trying to replace his board work? Are you trying to replace his defensive work? Are you trying to get Cuylle a running mate? Who they call up might depend on the answer to that question.

As I said I think it might be best to go 11/7 and keep Jones in the lineup; at least until Fox shakes the rust off; but I think I’d be trying to add Corey Perry if they look externally. If they look internally it’s probably going to be a quadruple A guy
