Yup.
Not surprised odc is saying Jagr. He'd take Stu Bickel at 3.5 over Nash. Lisin too.
Hahahaha

What's wrong with Stu Bickel?![]()
So are they really not bringing another F in? Going to dumpster dive on waivers ?
If I was to make a prediction, if one of the young D plays well in camp, they might then flip Holden for a forward.
Oilers need a veteran defenseman. I'd be irritated if DeAngelo, Bereglazov, or Pionk was NHL ready but didn't play due to Staal/Holden.
If you have a KHL out-clause, would you really invoke it just because you aren't on opening night roster?
If I was making a million in the KHL versus 90k in the AHL, I'd strongly consider it.
True . I think Berzeglov will be a lock unless he's just terrible in camp
Deangelo has to earn the spot to make them move Holden
Seriously, did Sandy Alderson sneak into the Rangers FO? Why aren't they bringing in any forwards??
Rangers have been content as hell for months. There is no reason at all to not bring in some guys on PTOs and here they are being picked away by other clubs
makes no sense at all. no sense.

But this year, it’s an important year for me personally,” Nash said Friday at Citi Field during an event promoting the Winter Classic between the Rangers and Sabres on New Year’s Day at the ballpark. “It’s an important year for the Rangers, too. We still haven’t achieved that goal (winning the Stanley Cup) that we all want to achieve.”

I think we may have been hoping for a larger move. I think we have looked for a top 6 forward not bottom 6 so we have kept our powder dry. We probably figure that the guys available right now are not worth fighting over.
I'm looking for a Top 9 type player, just a body. We're not gunna get a legit Top 6er on a PTO. Just want bodies, depth. Injuries can and will happen, Fast already out. I just don't understand doing nothing unless a lot of these guys just see other teams as a better opportunity.
probably wouldn't invoke it immediately but also probably wouldn't give you more than a month or so to be brought back up.
I'm not speaking about a top 6 player on a PTO. I think our management team got some cap room and wanted to keep their powder dry in case a trade for a player like a Duchene or RNH comes along. They didn't want to waste 1.5-3.5 mill in cap room on a lesser player in case a trade possibility comes our way.
