Reading comprehension is tough eh. I don’t care about his 2 cup wins but his teammates definitely do. Willful ignorance doesn’t mean it isn’t true

Othmann call up. Drury was watching closely last night I reckon.

Pitlick is hurt

Wonder if this means we see Brodz in between Brennan and Cuylle.

That 4th line is going to suck all of the balls though.

Othmann called up.

hope he gets a legitimate look. Think he can be impactful playing with the right guys.
I'd love to see a bit of a shake up

Panarin Zib Laf
Kreider Trochek Othmann
Cuylle wheeler(i know it wont happen) Vesey
Brodzinski Bonino Goodrow

I still think it says something. Just as easily could’ve called up Edstrom. Regardless I’m pleased with this development. Othmann needs NHL games pre-deadline to show us what he’s got. It will effect their trade plans

It certainly would.

It’s be nice to see them solve some of their issues in house. I think others will need outside help but Brennan and someone like Edstrom are probably better than what they’re running out there right now (I’m confident that Edstrom is.)

Personally I’d rather see Edstrom up than Brodz but understand that is a salary cap thing but perhaps they’re beyond that now and are just going to try to find something that works.

Othmann indicates to me that they’re going to play him in the top 9 to attempt to recreate an actual third line.

Edstrom & Othmann are far more likely to be playoff contributors than Pitlick or Brodz. I genuinely think Drury knows this despite his rep among some as a Dolt. The real test for me will be if he understands how bad they need another top 4 LD.

Vesey-Goodrow-Othmann is intriguing

Not sure why the wouldn’t just put Othmann in Pitlicks spot with 2 trustworthy veterans instead of shifting Brodzinski to center where he hasn’t played a single game all season. I’m not an expert like Arthur though

It just opened the other day. The amount of 32oz beers consumed in and outside this place was amazing.

I’ll be making a pilgrimage there before Othman’s debut tomorrow. Glad to see the return of an NYC staple

Hate to see anyone hurt, but man, the prospect of a useless player like Pitlick getting replaced with a legit top 9 player is tantalizing.

If this is what forces them to make better lines, it'll be the best thing Pitlick ever did.

Yea no offense but Pitlick was hitting waivers at the deadline anyway . He’s good playoff depth that’s it

Play Othmaan a lot

Holy smokes this is the most exciting news in a while. 3rd line will be known as the new kids line.

That #78 is gonna be so sexy in home blue.

The Ryan Carpenter of the season.

Not going to lie, I completely didn't even notice the Mothman call up because I was focused on the Garment District pizza discussion.

I'd be open to a lot of that but that would be a lot of getting to know you feeling out on the fly. Maybe try it in practice if we have a chance.
