This is an offseason move anyways. Rangers can easily fit him into the cap for next year

Please let Cuylle be the answer there. He has a lot of the things that have worked with those two in his game.

That was ages ago. Nobody has worked in years with them. At a certain point they become the issue. I hope Cuylle works, but putting him on his off wing may not.

Panarin has the best shot on the team and a top 10 wrist shot in the league. “just shoot it” is good advice for him and really bad advice for others.

Mika is a highly skilled player with a fantastic shot. He is clearly the case of a person whose results would dramatically improve if he didn't think so much.

Goodrow's M-NTC doesn't worry me either, I'm sure he would be more than fine going to California to play with Strome & Vatrano.

I'd absolutely be interested. His value is pretty low now which is good. But yea, Gabe is untouchable and Othmann is right there too. You would probably have to start with a Sykora and add Cuylle for even the Ducks to to listen. They are going to want a young NHL player back.

To Ducks: Kakko


However I don't think he is a Drury type player at all and he won't come for peanuts.

I personally move Othmann, and :::gasp::: potentially Kakko, before Cuylle.

Zegras is a one dimensional player. That is not the type of player this teams needs to be trading multiple assets for. I emphasize this team. Which will likely be a similar roster again next year competing for a cup run.

I would lean towards no because *whispers* I kinda wanna rebuild again after kicking this can sufficiently down the road.

That being said, if you think the team is still a contender, then he's a must-sign.

Seravalli stoking the Zegras rumors? Says Verbeek has been taking calls on him? I hope Drury was one of those calls. I assume most people wouldn't want to move Gabe, but it's food for thought with Chytil being a question mark.

We need another top-9 center with Chytil’s long-term health a major question mark. Go get him Drury.

Although I have no idea how it would work with the salary cap.

We need another long term center anyway and he can play wing for now.

This is a no brainer.

How about Lindgren for him? Then go trade something else for a top 4 D. Shift Miller to first pair.

I don't know how real it's gonna be, because the team will still have their fair share of talent, but I'd be fine with taking a step back, seeing who's who, and getting some mid-first picks.

Frank Seravalli also said earlier today that sources informed him over the summer that Zegras was being offered.
Zegras and Drysdale both had rough contract negotiations with the Ducks.
Drysdale gone and Zegras still on the block.
