Doesn’t matter if 26 or 30. You are giving a guy a raise and not buying their prime years. It’s dumb. The age difference is irrelevant. It’s about mileage. You can have a car from 2016 with 50k miles and a car from 2020 with 100k miles.

Wasting cap dollars on a capped out team is the learning experience. If the cap goes up 4m, do you really think it’s wise to give the entire cap increase (and possibly more) to Lindgren, who is clearly breaking down, and locking into this roster? It’s silly.

Othmann looked good playing against a team of his peers like Chicago, but I will admit he's not ready. This will probably help his development in HFD.

The defense is in shambles. The pairs need to be switched as we've been saying for weeks. I'm a Kandre fan but he doesnt do anything with any sense of urgency. There are a few guys on the team playing that way currently. Mostly on the defensive side of things

If Bjugstad is that good of a pk guy give me Pitlick bye Bonino or even Goodrow but it's obvious Goodrow is a better 4th liner with Vesey/Pitlick. They were very good when together a stretches this season.

Goodrow contract is killing us in the bottom 6. He's having an awful year on top of it. Paying him triple what he deserves is brutal when you have multiple top 9 injuries and no recourse.

He's probably lost a step (explosiveness) and no way is he going to the middle of the ice to create a shot. Too dangerous for him.

Watched Belzile quite a bit with Montreal last year. He was a decent player. Now I know it was for a team that had nothing to play for but still he has to be better than 1/3 of the forwards we have going right now.
Still would give Edstrom a chance as well

Tiktok hockey only for Zibanejad. He passed up about 5 glorious chances yesterday to make the highlight reel. Time for Peter Pan to grow up

Team does not need to buy or revamp a top-3 in hockey roster. They need health, a savvy pickup in the form of a Copp like Bjugstad, and to commit back to the style that they paraded out there for the first month +. That wins in playoffs, not trading rush chances and playing soft on the body.

I'm saying if he is cleared. Obviously, I would not jeopardize his life for a Cup run.

Good start to the season made the team complacent, as did their comfortability playing with guys theyve played with for years. Time to end this kreider/Mika, Fox/Lindgren, Miller/Trouba bullshit. We cant really do anything about the bottom 6 until we get healthy and closer to the deadline.

People are talking about Bjugstad but why would the Coyotes trade an experienced guy who has been decent for them in the middle of a playoff race type year? They already have a ton of picks (thank you Nemeth) and young players.
