I do a lot of writing as part of my day job, and that's like the last thing you want to do/say as a writer lol

Oh I totally get it, honesty on that end is not going to drive clicks and gather attention.

If he wants to get clicks and shit he can just write another fluff piece about Goodrow and how people who know puck will ignore his point totals to understand his true value.

I think there is quite a difference. Using Mika in 22-23 as example, he played almost 100 extra mins at ES v 5v5 and scored an additional 10 points which is not an insignificant amount. His usage also went from 4th among forwards to 3rd. KAM scored an extra 7 pts ES v 5v5 in the same season.

So far this season Mika has 6 more points ES vs 5v5. When people use point totals to help determine tiers of players (ie 50+ player vs 60+ player) then around 10 points a season seems like it's worth ensuring that Es and 5v5 and used interchangeably
Not saying ES annd 5v5 are EXACTLY the same, just not wildly different. The point being most people are looking to talk about scoring off off the power play. Which is not even in the same league as ES OR 5v5. Which despite their differences are way more in line with each other for most players than comparing power play scoring of ANY configuration.

If you think the Rangers, with a very flawed 1st place squad, can add a quality piece without giving up quality in return, than please strongly medicate now.

I'm going find an all night dentist, after I chew broken glass on March 8th rather that be here.

Ok. I might peak when painless.

Drury and his team will have 45 contracts once Bonino is gone. Assuming they sign (2) NCAA forwards leaves them at 47. I am guessing Laba and maybe Mancini get PTO's to finish out the year so they will slide. That opens up some options for claims as needed

Just saw a video of Laf getting the hat from Trouba ( in a suit) last night.
I noticed that Pitlick has those full mechanical type knee braces on BOTH knees.

Props to Tyler for still having the Giddy Up to be in the NHL.

Checking line Larry's latest.

Last week it was they were all in and were going to trade Kakko, Othmann, Cuylle and their 1st (exaggerating) and now this week its "unknown."

Brooks was had.

We need a 3C, preferably Dowd.

drop Brodz to 4C.

Elevate Goodrow to press box

If they’re serious of upgrading LHD it means moving Lindgren. Don’t see them doing it. I’d settle for Gus Fox and KAM Schneider pairings

RW can be a cheap option like Duclair.... or we can roll with Wheeler and just double shift Laffy and Panarin when needed.

Panarin Trocheck Laffy
Kreider Zibs Wheeler/Panarin/Laffy
Cuylle Dowd Kakko
Pitlick Brodz Vesey

Gus Fox
KAM Schneider
Lindgren Trouba

Add into the equation the possible departures at the deadline

Bonino is 35 years old. He's a multi-millionaire and he has a family.

If he's out of the NHL, he has no reason to grind it out in the minors.

I wish him the best in retirement.

Along with 2x Cup Winner - yeah I'd be saying Hell Nah to an AHL assignment too. If at the very least he had a hand in helping other players increase their skill with draws - it was worth it.

I wish him well.

Say this one more time and I will have to go full Pacino on your ass, a la Arthur Kirkland in And Justice for All...

"You're out of the order.
The Court is out of order..."

Bonino should enjoy retirement and if he wants he can make good $$ part time as a face off specialist tutor

You likely won't be anyway. The site will crash like it always does.
