That’s true. It also doesn’t have to be a 3 team trade. Could pick him up and flip him later for someone who comes available down the line. If we don’t want to keep him. I wouldn’t trade KK or Chytil for him though.

Well if you please good for the rangers then the rangers aren't going to want to trade him, and conversely if he doesn't play good for them then it turns into the narrative of why is a player looking at going on to his third team in less than a year. He can't really have that both ways

That Seth Jones deal made no sense, they could be picking 6th and 7th tonight, honestly maybe higher then 6th, as Jones had a solid year.
