you can only bury $900k in the minors so he's cap hit for the next two season if we did it that way would be $1.6m each season.
I think I'd be in the 'just get rid of the cap hit as early as possible' camp

Perfect but enough with the shuffling of the defense. Lindgren will never play 3rd pair as long as he’s a Ranger, nor should he.

Lindgren-Fox have been best friends forever and D partners their entire NHL career.

Miller has only played with Trouba since he’s been in the NHL.

It’d be like rolling Panarin-Mika and Kreider-Strome for the hell of it

You don't just put a player on PK and hope they learn. No coach is that dumb. They can tell from practice as well as skill set if the player can do it. Our PK was strong last year and got stronger once we added Mott and Copp.

Oh yeah the Rangers brass is really threatened by Larry Brooks who is nearing retirement. Yeah this brass, that hasn’t been around for the whole 80 years spanning different eras of hockey and evolution of the business and industry. They should totally just react and start abandoning the process.

Good to know. Apparently it's 2022-23: $750,000 + $375,000 = $1,125,000 now (taken from CapFriendly)

I said months ago nemeth would get bought out and the board capoligists came after me about it. His buyout is cheap, manageable, and makes sense given our current situation.

I would be shocked if they assign him to the AHL after one season here. He isn't redden, I don't think nyr will death sentence his career after year 1 of a contract. Not a good look for Drury to other mid tier guys around the league looking to come here on multi year deals to bury guys in the ahl

I would hope Chytil can grow defensively. Do not think he would be anyone we would lean on next season.

Zibs is solid. He should not be 'the guy' though. He looks better than he is with Strome and Chytil in contrast.

I can't believe they can't move him somewhere, add a 6th round pick and send him to Arizona ffs
 
Brooks is such a pigeon for the Rangers, his whole spiel about Chytil was about making the case that Winnipeg should really want him instead of Kakko.
