This. It’s a waste of time trying to navigate the cap as a fan. The front office has so many more options and so much more info. We can speculate and we know the basic parameters in which they’re operating but to take a strong stand on this stuff is absurd.

True plus a first but Copp is a better player. Many of us would have liked to sign long term if amount was reasonable. I don't think anyone wants to sign Haula long term

there is a surprising number of Ranger/Devil fans out there. Usually Hockey nerds who grew up in that area. I wouldn't be surprised if Brooksie has a soft spot for the Devs

Not NYR related but Krejci didn’t like that Cassidy never played him with Pastrnak (countryman and good friend) despite their requests to play more than a handful of games together and Cassidy’s excuse was that he didn’t want to break up the perfection line. Once Krejci left to Czechia and the Bruins picked up Haulafamer, Cassidy broke up the perfection line and stapled Pastrnak to Haula for most of the year
