Sure let's play guys out of position all over the place.
Why not? We are already doing it with our 1st overall pick. Centers can normally play all over, and are you really concerned over Goat playing his off wing? I guess we won't get all the production he is giving us anymore.

I'm not sure it's working all that well with our #1 pick. But hey, minutes. No, playing a bunch of guys out of position is for video games.

Calm down, chicken little. LOL
Keep believing rangers will make playoffs. I guarantee you and said in beginning of the year they won’t. All the teams 1-2 points behind them have games in hand. Rangers will be towards the bottom of the east this year. Rangers had a good run after they acquired copp, motte, vatrano, Braun. Still faced backup goalies to make it to the final 4. We lost all those players and our depth is terrible. Our backup can’t save a puck or win a fame for anything. At least last year Georgiev won us games. Shesterkin is in the middle of the pack. Bad time to have a bad backup. Our top picks are the worst top picks in who knows how long. Laf and kaako can’t score for anything. Kratsov is killing us with the cap because he is always injured.

Why don’t we call up Dominique and send down Halek. That will give us some cap space. Carpenter send down he is useless then bring up someone that can be a paper transaction. I really doubt Halek gets picked up. What team wants a goalie at 1.5 million who is terrible and can’t be trusted to play bottom teams like Arizona. Dominique will give us a better effort than Halek.
If you watched Domingue playing tonight against Springfield you would probably not be suggesting swapping him for Halak.
He was worse than awful.

And it's 12 Fing games, they have injuries, and they are 6-4-2 and in the mix. Give me a break.

From Brooks latest:
"The Rangers have had 67:15 with the man-advantage. The Five Horsemen — not pestilence and all that, but instead, Zibanejad, Kreider, Panarin, Trocheck and Fox — have amassed between 51:40 and 52:40 of power-play time apiece.

The Blueshirts have not gotten a goal from a forward on the second unit since David Quinn was behind the bench."

It's maybe true in the regular season, definitely not true in the playoffs. Chytil had a goal against Pittsburgh.

It's basically average and there are only a handful of teams with better records in the east. Certainly no need to panic in early November.

We all knew they weren't going to have the mojo of last season.

All they have to do is be good enough to get in the dance and take it from there.

They're not avoiding the injury bug which is unfortunate.

This board is starting to remind me of 2012-13 (2013 strike shortened season) when they were so desperate for depth and warm bodies and guys like Ben Ferrerio, Darrol Powe, and a cooked Jason Arnott become unicorns here.

"Indeed, the players who skated on the third line against the B’s — Jimmy Vesey, Barclay Goodrow and Julien Gauthier — have amassed four goals at full strength to the three that first-liners Kreider, Zibanejad and Kaapo Kakko have recorded. "

I'm assuming "full" means "even", Larry, but point taken.

Waive Blais. I can't believe this is the same player that was a wrecking ball for St. Louis during their Cup run. He lost at least two steps courtesy of PK Subban. He looks so slow out there. Looks cooked.

Too early to make that call - the guy is coming back from pretty serious surgery and hasn't played in a year. It would behoove us to be a little more patient than 12 games.

Agreed to early but it’s becoming obvious they are going to need rentals like last year for the bottom 6 and 6/7 D

Gonna add like 3 bodies by the deadline. That’s why you stock up picks in a Georgiev and Lundkvist deal

I don’t trust Hajek W an injury like Lindgren now for example. Gotta add another Braun type

I also don’t feel comfortable W Carpenter or Reaves. Maybe try Rydahl and or Cuylee eventually

Chytil out hurts the depth

Best case it takes Blais a few months to get going again but by the time the deadline/playoffs start he is back to how he was for the Blues. That would be absolutely huge for us to have him playing like that in the bottom 6 in the playoffs and it would save us the need to look for someone else at the deadline and waste assets on.
