Sorry if I missed it, but have Edge, Bob, RangerBoy or any of our other resident insiders provided the inside details on the dismissals of JD and Gorton and have they commented on whether Quinn will be back? I know a lot of people are positing that he won't be back based on Drury's ambiguous comments, but did any of the insiders say anything?

If we're going Full Dolan, it does seem kind of lined up for it, especially since he got along with Panarin

He was a good coach for us, so I don't see what the issue would be. He's very good at molding young teams into competitive ones and also has become a tamer version of himself since he left here.

Have any coaches come back to team for a 3rd time?

Whoever the next coach is, fans will be bitching about him sooner rather later no matter who he is.
But Sullivan is the last regime's pick and may or may not be Drury's, hence why you can share it now? *poke poke*

If Drury was solely making the coach decision I think there’s a chance Quinn sticks around but Dolan and Sather will obviously have a say

So I just can’t see him staying as coach. Hopefully they don’t screw up the choice of new coach

It’s the nature of the beast, but as long as this coach is going to instill an identity, actual accountability, and put us in the best position to succeed each and every night then there will certainly be a long honeymoon period.

This is hilarious given how the board incessantly bitched about him and his PP tactics last time.

It's funny because Sully has clearly grown into one of the better coaches around, and likely so will DQ. For all the hate he gets around here, he is young and will likely have a long and succesful career coaching in this league.

Wow that’s a good point. Do prospective candidates for the Rangers Head Coaching job take that into consideration that the owner could be unstable/unstable situation? George Steinbrenner comes to mind.
We've had fewer people in management and behind the bench than most teams in the Dolan era. Unstable? Not so much.

I’ve got nothin’

My speculation is that if Quinn does come back, he’s now Drury’s problem. And that’s not a good place for a new GM. What happens if the Rangers start 3-10 next year? I don’t necessarily think it is fair but I think the odds are better than 50% that he is gone.

Sullys forecheck and full speed ahead skating would probably do well with the current team. Torts is a coach that gets the most out of his guys but polar opposites with styles. I doubt we get either

would love to give Montgomery a shot here. But with his history seems unlikely. Also think a guy like Tippet would do real well here, unlikely he leaves the Yotes though. They know what they’ve got with him.. excellent strategic coach especially when it comes to special teams

whoever we get, I just want them to make everyone work hard every game every shift. The guys do that, a lot of the rest of the stuff will sort itself out. We need blue collar accountability. Quinn’s a dead man walking right now. I know many like him, but his shelf life here has run it’s course here
