Rick Nash trade tree
I saw the same post that Steven saw. If the Rangers and the league interpret this the same way, this has major potential. It would affect the Rangers more than any other team in the league. Not just for a possible free agent signing but also for a potential trade. Anyone got a left hand defenseman or a second line center they would like to move?If the performance bonuses are pro-rated, the Rangers would have $4,079,916 in cap space with 14 forwards and 7 defensemen*
That changes things significantly.
*Assuming the overall cap stays the same

that’s easy to do IMO
Also is Reananen expsnsion exempt like Kakko? I’d think so based on contract yrs left
if bonuses and salaries are pro-rated then the cap would have to also. it won't create extra cap space
Really? What am I missing? Is it because he was a Devil?
Dunno, but remember the organist would play “She was just 17” before face offs when Dino was on the ice. There was a story about a limo and an underage gal.Any of you old timers aware of any time we almost traded for Ciccarelli?
Steve Leach’s 17-year-old girlfriend, reportedly. Geoff Courtnall and Scott Stevens were involved. 17 was not underage in that jurisdiction, but she alleged rape. I think they were all traded within a season or two.Dunno, but remember the organist would play “She was just 17” before face offs when Dino was on the ice. Oh, that is a fun video for sure. I love that he mentioned the 7th round picks being the exact same spot in 2018 and 2019.
Nothing ever beats the Lindros trade tree though.
The Lindros trade tree is like a bern proposal come to life.
Really goes to show how much of a step up the NHL is in terms of speed and skating from basically everywhere. Brendl was fantastic in the WHL, good in the AHL, an awesome scorer in the KHL, Liiga, tore up the SHL, etc. And couldn't stick at all in the NHL. He had some other deficiencies but you hit the nail on the head, the skating was the killer.
This predicates they will be that good. Do you remember Lundmark and Brendl? That possibility is ever-present no matter what anyone says.

Based on follow up with Uncle Larry, this is correct. What post are you referring to? Can you repost it? I might have missed it due to having the poster on ignore.
Points do not equal valueNo, it's because looks at his games played as an NHLer the last two seasons AND point production:
41 GP 10 points
49 GP 9 points
That's a 13th forward in the modern game.
Based on follow up with Uncle Larry, this is correct.
